I wouldn't take issue with lolbert takes and government conspiracy theorizing if these people had the spine to call a spade a spade first.
It's especially grating with them lawtubers because many of them got clout for standing up for truth, even if it was not entirely popular or mainstream.
I remember Viva Frei actually going out on the streets livestreaming truckers protests in Canada. Joe went to Ghislaine Maxwell hearing - couldn't stream cause it was federal, but he reported. They all stood up for Rittenhouse.
But when it's one of theirs being a retard, and it needs to be said even though it may costs you some viewers - they won't do that. No fucking integrity.
They will keep reverting to "well let's be fair" and "but from legal standpoint" and "well he could bounce back still", they don't have the fucking balls to cut the ties.
And at some point you have to. At some point it's the only way.
Say that you're a cop, and you actually disagree with how you are expected to treat people. You don't want to arrest them for smoking weed. You disagree with somebodys' shooting yorkshire terriers just because they're dogs and all dogs are a mortal threat somehow. Same goes for a corpo wagie that realizes it's his job to rip off old grandmas in insurance scams. Or a fucking insta influencer that realizes she's selling bullshit products to naive teenagers.
And then you can tell yourself all the bullshit, that at least you're getting paid, at least there are some other people you help, at least you have a job. But if deep inside you're deeply morally conflicted about what you're doing - you have to leave. It's the only way. Once you realize that you will never be okay with this - you have to leave, you have only one life, and you need to stand up for what you believe in. Money comes and goes. But you have only one reflection in the mirror, and if all you see in it is fucking trash - you gotta change that radically. The sooner the better - but even if it's late, even if you think it's too late - as long as you're alive, you can still walk away, disavow, never look back. It's actually very easy, and it immediately makes you feel free, like you broke the chains. You may hurt financially or socially - but damn, it feels good to be away from the evil. No money can buy that.
So all it tells me is that lawtubers don't have that moral conflict. It doesn't gnaw on them that Nick had shitton of drugs and unsecured weapons in his bedroom where kids could have walked into. Doesn't bother them that much to be part of the retard crowd believing that Nick can change. It can all be excused, justified and rationalized. They can keep patting themselves on the back for being good friends, loyal, supportive till the end of times, because they don't even have the capability to recognize it's all bullshit. They can't accept they have been duped. They think they will be rewarded for maintaining the 'the crew and the captain go down with the ship' . But it's a shit ship. And the captain was shit. There is no honor in drowning as a shit crew, on the shit ship, under the shit captain.
