After browsing the farms and encountering so many sad sacks conflating women's empowerment with the fall of civilization... I'm left thinking these people never leave the house.

In truth I am very much concerned about the state of boys. I have some. I am also aware of the very real statistics and accept that society is failing them. I just don't think the manosphere has come up with any realistic solutions. It's all a bunch of sad sacks wagging their fingers at women, simultaneously telling us we're destroying everything while also telling us we're weak and incompetent. Pick one.

So if society is failing boys, I'm not going trust society to raise mine. When I look to who else besides myself is going to make sure my children have a good shot at success, I look at their father, my husband. When I tell him about what I'm seeing online, he understands those feelings these young men are having - he was a shy boy and late bloomer once too. But he also finds the wallowing and finger pointing pathetic.

Then again we're older people not having to navigate youth dating culture, housing shortages, college debt, employment opportunities, etc. However, on both sides of the family we have a lot of boys and men between 20-30 who are living successful partnered lives. Even more when you include friends and coworkers. So what's their secret sauce? Some have a lot of money, some don't. Some are good looking, some aren't. Some met their women through social circles, some online, some at a bar. A few are religious, most are not. None of them are whining online that's for sure.

Yes there's an epidemic of hikokimoris both men and women, but there's also a lot of people still doing the same ol thing of getting married and having a family. Again, my question is, how do these people still exist if it's so bad out there? I'm getting wedding and baby shower invitations all the damn time.

Another point worth mentioning about "genius pioneer" archetype men gush about and lament how there isn't anymore of them due to

Yeah if you ever take a closer look at men who say "women are stupid/women are immature like children" it always turns out that he spends his entire day watching tiktok thot dancing videos and jerking off to lolicon. They don't talk to women who are smart, not just because they wouldn't listen to a smart woman who isn't a hot 18 year old, but also because smart women know to avoid them like the plague.
