What breadtubers and terminally online lefties really fail to understand is the fact that out of all these so-called conservative figures online, Wendigoon is the only that would probably hear them out on their opinions and be charitable about it, while the rest of the conservative figures would probably take them out of context to display them as "wow lefties are so wacky" strawmen to their audience. I do hope I'm not too late to post this, but In Praise Of Shadows has, in my opinion, suddenly decided to take a sharp left turn into full blown lolcowism.

This is a strange, disjointed video that the title would suggest is ostensibly about 'Bad Conservative Horror Movies', but starts out as a rant about Kevin Spacey being guest of honour at the Mad Monster horror convention, and then rapidly turns into what I can only describe as a bizarre cry for help, after some people on Twitter made fun of him for his takes on The Hills Have Eyes and how this has directly resulted in his only source of income being affected and how, as a result, he's now been late with his rent for many, many months now.

Harmful Opinions went though the video. I'm still going though it and I think it is a pretty good breakdown.

Cross posting this from the creepshow thread. Forgive me if this is too tinfoil or autistic, but I think this is worth mentioning.

There's a true crime channel called 'Dreading crime and psychology'. Shortly before Creepshow Art, AKA Shannon, left YouTube for 6 months, she attempted to pivot to true crime content. When she came back, it was at the tail end of 2021, presumably to earn ad revenue for 6 more months. Dreading crime and psychology appeared with their first upload on January 19th, 2022.

Over the time Dreading crime and psychology has been active, they've had a streak of putting out pretty shallow and repetitive content even by YouTube true crime standards. There's a bizarre focus in many videos on performative outrage and moments where the narrator drops the monotone voice to interject 'personal quips'. Usually stating over and over again how "this is crazy guyz!!1!" or "wow, that is seriously messed up!1!1!"

It's a quirk that reminds me of Shannon and Anthony because Shannon constantly overstated how horrible or morally repugnant something was to earn praise. I don't see much of a difference in the way Dreading does this, and the snark, IMO, sounds like what Shannon/Anthony usually sound like.

Now my biggest piece of evidence is the voice of Anthony Parker himself.

At the timestamp 57:55, you can hear a clip of Anthony Parker's speaking voice uninterrupted. This is a dead ringer for the narrator of Dreading. The man behind the videos says his brother helps him with research, but given the rather shallow and shoddy coverage they've given many cases, I wouldn't at all be surprised if this was Shannon helping to research and write scripts. Lots of red flags to me show up, looks like it's another channel grifting off true crime.

The timing of the channel appearing, focus on quantity, churning out multiple hour long videos of raw interrogation footage with occasional snark (wow, such original kahntent!), the similarities in voice, and the fact that comments have been turned off on a few of Dreading's more recent uploads leave me with doubts.

That being said, I could be wrong and this could be reaching. Greedy true crime channels aren't uncommon on YouTube. I'm NOT saying this is 100% ironclad proof of this being Anthony/Shannon, but all these factors added together gives me pause.
