Fischer is one of three judges in the district and if this sort of shit would work any criminal in a small town would just talk shit about the handful of judges in their area as a method of pre-emptively guarding against search warrants. Nick's team would have to prove that Fischer wouldn't have signed the Warrant if it wasn't Nick that was the target of it, which is almost impossible to do. I'm sure Fischer has signed dozens of similar warrants on similar evidence and would easily dispel that line of attack from Nick's camp.
