State of Minnesota v. Nicholas Rekieta, Kayla Rekieta, April Imholte

Will Nicholas Rekieta take the plea deal offered to him?

It looks like multiple people had to write the Property Inventory Sheet. The handwriting changes and becomes more legible at item #14.

And the first author had to go back with a blue pen because he fucked up the case file #. And he spelt his name wrong on the 2nd sheet.

Extremely petty, but lol.

The circumstances of the search warrant and the people involved in executing it makes it seem more likely that Nick will actually try the lolbertarian hail mary instead of groveling for a plea deal.

Why hasn't Kurt figured out that Nick was never his friend to begin with?
Because he probably doesn't have any friends. Think of that one loser kids who was in a group that made fun of him. He's there because sometimes bad attention is better than no attention.

I hope this is forged, Barnes grabbed it from here while insisting he received a legit copy via FOIA, and proceeds to do an entire multi-hour stream ranting about it only for the real deal to be unsealed in the meantime.

The spectacularly atrocious handwriting lines up with what you can expect from the average police officer in the US, so it's probably real.

Imagine being completely undone by reading "anime sucks... cope and sneed" repeatedly. Like saying "beetlejuice" three times.
Do you have access to the Barnes sperg stream? Can you archive it?

Or do you mean the stream from yesterday when he made shit up?

Aaron is reading the search warrant live. Looks like he's donating all the super chats to the Rekieta kids. How crazy is it that Nick chose to fuck around with some live streamer who ended up giving us ALL the details? The power of that Sonichu medallion is amazing.
Aaron Imholte is a rat who just barely got off the flaming, sinking ship in time.

He was all for everything until Kayla got awkward and made him feel like wifeswapping was a bad idea. He admitted to doing coke and mdma with them, and tacitly accepting Kayla showing up in his room to try to initiate operation Nick fucks someone new.

Sure, I think he eventually turned against the drugs, but not until after he realized the trade he made and that April wasn’t coming back

The streams are being used as evidence against Nick. What a shocker, nobody could have seen that coming. Self snitching remains the most effective help law enforcement has around the world. Even more now in the social media age.
On the allegations of child neglect, I am wondering if they are going to tag on additional charges if what is being described in the affidavit is being substantiated. That's more than "just" having your kids hang around in a home with a lot of cocaine in it.

UGH - those poor fucking kids. Nick and Kayla deserve prison.

And here I thought he was reported because he drove his kids drunk or one of them told the pastor about daddy's nose candy.

Even without the streams of him calling his judge a stupid cunt, there's no way she'll show leniency towards him. He's going to miss watching his children grow up.

Being known as the stinky kid is probably one of the worst feelings. Your body is changing and you don't know how to deal with it, and your parents are too busy to help (in this case because of the cocaine orgy).

Edit: A lot of the times, legal shit is just an excuse to deal with people who are behaving in unacceptable ways. I genuinely believe that Rekieta's general neglect is way worse and equally deserving of legal consequences than any of his other actual legal transgressions. (I'm adding this so my post has some relevancy to the legal discussion)

This is still a first time drug charge. Unless he listens to Barnes et al. and tries to fight this out to the end, there's a path available to him where he can get clean, show contrition, and work to get his kids back. He'll be under significant conditions and supervision, but the state doesn't want to immediately lock up non-violent married drug users with kids. It's bad for the kids and costs the state money. Nick's problem is that he will refuse to do all the things he has to do, and he'll be listening to vipers like Juju the Cow, Barnes, etc. who are saying he's not a bad guy and that he can still win.

I think it's a 50/50 chance of him going to prison for a significant period, not because of how bad the charges are (or can be, since he can still be charged with more stuff), but because he is his own worst enemy.

Legal Mindset is going over the warrant on stream. Nothing new except he said:

"And the worst thing to is - and I'm gonna tell you this - guys we'll talk about this after this and I'm not gonna dox the DMs but I'm gonna tell you something I know right now for a fact because I'm looking at it right now, but Nick is flipping out right now in private, and he is - I'm watching some DMs right now - he's going fucking nuts, Nick is going nuts. And I would expect that Nick would make some statements that you probably shouldn't make, and may go live. But he is, and I'm watching him right now I'm poking my eye over, but he's going fucking crazy."

I hope he does lmao I want to see his latest cope and denialism.

EDIT:

"And I'm also watching Nick behind the scenes right now, coping, attacking, saying that - I'm gonna paraphrase cause I'm not gonna dox the DM - but Nick is saying right now everything is bullshit, I know who reported it, they have specific animus toward me - you know, he's giving his whole story here in DMs and this is all gonna be used against him, someone's gonna turn this in. There's - I'm in this, when you got 20, 30 people in here someone's gonna talk about it. Stupid. Nick's acting real stupid right now, real irrational."

The warrant indicates so.
Being starved is an emotional reach. It says a preschool teacher said they were hungry, and not fed. Which could mean they came to school without breakfast. There's almost as much evidence in the warrant to indicate they are Chantal like hambeasts who are always hungry and consider going an hour as "not fed".

And Aaron gave them spaghettiO's. So they should be all good.

I'd wait for a CPS report on the condition of the children before declaring they were "being starved". Then you can crucify him for it.

Based on what Legal Mindset is saying on stream (link), zero. Nick is furious, sperging out (in what I think is the general lawtube DM/group chat). He's going to fight this.
Law sucks, cope and sneed.

If he fights this, what's the odds it's going to be live streamed so he can truly go full circle and become the content?

Maybe someone can better interpret this than me, but a quick skim of the MN case accessibility rules seems to say that even with minor victims it looks like nothing is going to be sealed without a motion or court order. Just the identifying information of the victims will be obscured.

No specific victims have been named with regard to the neglect/abuse charges yet, but even if the case goes further down that (dark) path then it doesn’t look like it’ll be automatically sealed?
