Phil spent years paying for a condo he had no intention of ever using because a company wanted to speak to him over the phone about renting it out for him instead of communicating via email. It was not only thousands of dollars lost on something he didn't need to own, but even more money lost on passive income he could have collected by doing literally nothing except taking a call with whatever company was going to help him rent it. I don't think Phil ever applies for any sort of assistance program, unless he is truly at his lowest point of desperation. Like, parents dead, inheritance and dent money completely dried up levels of desperate. And even then, he'd probably livestream it and try to get his dents to fill out the forms in his name.

Well I am hoping he never snuggles up to that teat no matter how bad things get. I'd spare him a +1 for consistency but nothing else. Someone snagging a picture of him in the charity queue would demolish him. Unless some SSIdiot props up the quivering king.

Yeah if he got a Steam deck you better believe he wouldn't shut up about it to the wheelchairs until the latest episode of "I don't what's going on there hasn't been any pahsitivity in the last two hours this IS what YOU yes YOU all wanted to see".

Remember that he was floating the idea of begging for one, but has elected to go for a bigger grift with the PC.

I’d love for Phil to get a Steam Deck, just to see him trying to troubleshoot it. I sincerely doubt he’d do anything beyond always having it on Steam Big Picture mode, but it’d sure be funny if he ever tried desktop mode.

That's one of the excuses he uses to get the dents to give him money for a PC instead of the PC itself. Someone was going to send him a very capable computer last year, but Phil refused. He wants $3k-4k so he can order a PC on credit and blow the money on WWEC.

Dude will be 60 and still streaming. I think he’ll inherit a fully paid off house and still fuck that up. I’ve always said this about him…he could be making 30k and will still find someway to do his lazy streaming/content.

(Regardless of whatever excuses he uses, it's pretty obvious that he just doesn't want the responsibility that would come with it.) Indeed, based on the reaction the one time there was somewhat serious speculation as to Phil actually having a kid (a sharp-eared restreamer thought he heard a baby crying in the background once — IIRC it was determined either to be a misheard game sound effect or to be one of Phil's neighbors' kids being heard through the condo walls), its clear to me that if Kat ever got pregnant, the mood around here would quickly take a turn for the worst.
