I'm worried about their apparent lack of nutrition. Especially for the younger ones, there's a unfortunate chance those kids grow up short and with medical conditions because they didn't eat right when they were growing. It's called nutrient deficiency.
I suspect it's bad but not that bad - because the kids were still being seen by other people throughout the day(s) and those people would have slipped them some food. It's the fucking midwest, it's damn hard to get out of someone's house without having a casserole shoved down your throat. I think we have a "none of the fucking druggies were buying food" situation not a "the kids were starving to death for years" - thank goodness for small favors.
It's possible the spent casing was from a range trip. Possible but with Nick there is no telling where the spent brass came from. There are times I'll have brass in my range bag or something after a trip.

I'm curious if the brass casing had the primer struck or not. That would tell us if it were fired or they just removed the bullet and tried to snort the gun powder with the coke.
Has Nick ever talked about going to the range or guns at all? Because .22 casings do collect like flies, but if he never goes to the range, it was a nosepipe 100%
Generational wealth takes another victim. I have a friend who is very wealthy but has a great head on his shoulders and has raised great kids. He exists in the upper echelon of society and always rails against generational wealth. He has seen too many 2nd and 3rd generations throw their lives away on drugs and alcohol because they have no struggle to make them appreciate life.
Significant discussions on various retirement forums (bogleheads, etc) are around that, it's really a hard question; the best seems to be the quiet life, hidden trust fund method, where the kids "struggle" with some parental help until they reach majority and then have the fund revealed. But even that isn't 100%.

Or are they always this bad?
These are blue collar cops in rural Minnesota, probably no four year degree (not that that means much about intelligence these days), writing something they've written a thousand times before in the past. He probably gave it a quick once-over and submitted it quickly, since there were kids at stake.

Point being, yes, these aren't legal filings before the Court of Appeals. These are banged out by cops. Expect typos and grammatical mistakes. We all know—Rekieta, the judge, us, etc.—what he meant to write when there's a typo.

jail doomers remember jailed cows dont make milk
I seriously suspect at some point our content gets shut down but considering the latest content generally involves abused children, I'm totally fine with that. I hope he goes to a million jails and shares a cell with Nick Bate.

My take on this is he has moved beyond lolcow category into straight-up burn at the stake monster.
He is now teetering on the level of the psychopaths in the Zoosadist threads...it's so fucking depraved I get no joy out of laughing at them.
When a cow starts making more anger than lols, it's time to put them out to pasture for good.

I would think court mandated rehab would be more painful for him, because he has to stop drugs AND deal with his own narcissism, and it also comes with the bonus that he could relapse after and STILL end up in jail for a two-fer.

The cop, Quin Pomplun, has pretty terrible handwriting:

Interestingly, Officer Pomplun used to be a police chief at Sacred Heart, but in his new jurisdiction is just a Detective EDIT: his original jurisdiction had a tiny population and some other posters have highlighted that it's normal for a small-town chief to move to a bigger jurisdiction as a detective like that. Here's a photo of him (he's on the right):

Can't wait for the bodycam to see this guy bust down Nick's door
his handwriting is abominable

But he's SO egotistical, so far gone. Refusing rehab??? If I were him I would take Eric July up on the offer to pay for his rehab lol. "Shiet nigga I didn't think you would actually take my comic book money."
Good friends don't offer a choice. Good friends fucking hog-tie him if necessary, drag him into the back seat, turn on the child locks and lock the doors, drive his ass to a rehab clinic, drag him inside, and sign the paperwork to get him enrolled themselves.

As someone who has "reading shit-awful doctor handwriting" as part of his job, that officer's handwriting is perfectly legible and better than probably 80% of doctors.
For real freal. It's not great, but any of you niggers want to try to write shit down on a clipboard in one hand whilst a whole house is screaming down around you, be my guest.
