General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Invaders got a feature video (and something extra)

Also if you're gonna call yourselves rangers, don't you need a 5th member?
Moonshine has dropped some kino as well

If anyone here has an in with Phase Connect, I've got a merch idea for Shiina, since she's becoming more comfortable with her autism: Kanichu Medallions.
Man, Idk if the medallion is cursed or a carrier wave for a demon or tulpa's totem or whatever, but there's no way in hell I would fuck around with that shit for a lark. Not at this point.

It's OK, Diddler Dax is the next target, and he can keep the curse contained for at least a couple months, so if you need to transfer the cursed artifact, now would probably be a good time.

It seems the Israel/Palestine brainrot has finally shown up with a holo talent

Astel from Holostars committed the cardinal sin of "mentioning publicly he ordered McDonalds"

Sir, A Second Holostar has mentioned McDonalds

Bunch of the same retards showing up in the replies, noticibly fewer in number at least for now, I noticed upon checking later after Astel's grave crime of "not deleting the tweet where he talked about french fries" a few of them apparantly deactivated their accounts because they can't support Holostars if their talents talk about the incorrect provisioner of hamburgers and french fries.

What exactly does Phase Connect do? Is it like a pimp for V-Tubers?

Vtuber corpos provide a sort of built-in environment, they provide vtuber models for talents, otherwise if you were indie you have to pay for a lot of that out of your own pocket. They also can step in to help their talents if they issues with youtube/twitch/etc. They procure people to make merchandise for the vtubers, they take a cut but that's part of the agreement for them to work together. They take a cut of donations but with Phase I think the talents still get the better split of donations and memberships. They allow for better opportunities with sponsorships and of course promotion on different platforms and being able to attend conventions to meet with their fans.

The name brand of the corpo can be a selling point too because if a new vtuber is announced for Phase or Hololive or Vshojo they're going to have a certain built-in audience. The corpo name can also open doors for collabs with other talents, sometimes bigger talents too to put your name out there more along with promoting the company you work for.

Would you like an apple pie with that?

Mori: "gonna still be taking it easy and doing physical therapy to recover from my surgery"

Also Mori: 9 streams this week + 2 membership streams not listed on that image. so 11 streams this week.
"since I have to sit/lay here like a vegetable, might as well roll the camera"

It's not exactly what you wanted but it's close enough. This has no right to be so well animated
>begins with smug biboo
off to a good start

Logistics is a huge part of what a company provides. As a streamer, you may be a great at chat interactions, have smooth comedic timing, great pipes and the ability to stick to a schedule, no matter what.

None of those necessary qualities impart an understanding of taxes or finance, the technical acumen to rig a model, the graphic design talent to design merch someone would actually want to pay for/wear, or the business skills to negotiate and contract production and fulfillment of said merch. These are the value add that a corp can offer a streamer, and can be worth trading a LARGE chunk of their earnings to secure.

It's like a dating app for mentally ill people, they introduce mentally ill women to mentally ill men. You can have functional autistic like Jelly or nonfunctional like Remi, retarded like Lumi or just good old fashioned sad girls like Dizzy.
Just let everyone know what your mental illnesses are to get started

Not to mention the tard wrangling. For Phase Connect specifically, from what the talents have talked about a not insignificant amount of the manager's time is spent keeping these girls on track and (relatively) mentally healthy. And it's not only talking with them in the company discord. Just recently Pippa had that whole thing where Muumi (one of the longer serving managers) was flown out to her specifically to help her get a passport. That is, filling out the paperwork, walking with her into the office to submit it, etc. I don't doubt Sakana has a line item somewhere on his budget for talent wellness.

Having that support network can be a huge deal. The lack of it causes half the burnout among indies I would bet.

I'm running on 3 hours of sleep and ADHD medication so I'm not sure if I read someone predicting that or if it was revealed to me in a dream.
Either way I wonder if it's wishful thinking for her to go back to being Project Rye, I liked that model. But either Idol is cleaning up house for its image or it's a sinking ship now. Time will tell but I only wish the best for her and Lisa.
Rye is one of the reasons I went down this rabbit hole, so I'm at least grateful for that.

Little drunk fox trying to finish Sekiro tonight.

Also at the beginning she talked about her sleep schedule and per doctor's orders can no longer do uberman sleep schedule with worrying veins showing on her hands. Along with that she had to cut back on Alcohol and caffeine too because of shakes but that has been better. Hope my little hag is okay.
