I love how Steph comes out of nowhere with the creepiest grin on her face and immediately starts making advances that would be considered sexual harassment if a guy did them. I also love how Diane is somehow not skeeved out/offended by the sexual harassment and immediately turns into a giggling teenage girl despite being like 35 years old and previously characterized as reserved and professional. This is definitely how real humans interact with each other and definitely how you pick up women. Great job, Deck Nine!

Of course whitey did it and the big secret was that.... people working in a dangerous field with a lot of snap decisions died. It's not even on the level of national news, and there is no reason to the megacorp to even cover it up. It's people who never have responsibility lashing out on imaginary case of people who do need to.

The entire explosion the plot is based around apperantly didn't do shit and you can literally walk to the grave site on foot. Why didn't Alex just lead people to the rock pile?

Alex's father died in the blast because we need the plot to connect to the heroine for some reason...?

The final confrontation basically had the heroine win because she really wanted to. It's like it tries to be the worse aspects of female writing.

The town is also doomed without the corpo providing jobs like 99% of those worker towns, but apperantly traffic from feral urbanites will provide new income revenues.

At least the music from Trails is really good.

This is one of those games I hate so much that I can't even enjoy a video making fun of it. Every clip from the game had me rolling my eyes and making sounds of disgust.

My disgust is heightened because the main character is an empath, and there are assholes in real life who claim to not just be empathetic, but have actual empath superpowers. In reality they're just narcissists, because their whole hustle is to co-opt the emotions of those around them as to make themselves the center of attention. When you hurt, you make meeeeeee hurt!

Its funny too because you can so easily change it for it all to make so much more sense. You say they were illegally mining there in a dangerous area and then you have a reason for the cover up, you say Jed knew about it so he has a reason for the bribe and to feel guilty.

Do they ever say what is being mined? I searched online and can't find anything. Might as well say the corporation does evil anti environment things.

People pointed out that a far better plotline would be that the monster the kid saw is actually a real lovecraftian horror (which would explain why a fucking 12 year old would be scared by some rocks) and the company was trying to save everyone by burrying it, that would be such a massive subversion of expectations (le bhig comphany not le bhad???) it would unironically be kino.

Yes, they skipped the 2nd game & that one is worse than bad, it's boring. I remember they went "le orange man bad" once. In fact, & this is a rumor so take it with a bit of salt, but I heard that one of the game's first 3D models that you can find online at the time of release were ripped from a pirated version of the game cause no one wanted to buy the game.

i only got to the 4th episode of that game when i pirated it through the demo bypass. never finished it not because i hated the thing or anything. i just never got around to it (i am a master procrastinator)

To be clear, are you saying that the models from the 2nd game are from a pirated version of the first game? Or did I not read this properly?

Let me explain, the rumors that I talked about suggested that one of the first guys who ripped the 3D models from the 2nd game, used a pirated version of the game, & ripped the models from that version.
