It's because there's lots of footage, it probably involves children, some of it is probably not only inadmissable but nonpublic/private (and Minnesota appears to have a somewhat convoluted approach to these issues), so someone, probably someone with a legal degree, or multiple someones, are going to have to spend several billable hours between them, at a fairly scary hourly, to render them as something that doesn't violate the defendants' rights.

The heartbreaking thing will be the kids. If there’s any footage of Kayla while she makes arrangements before being taken in herself. I truly feel for those kids man. I pray this takes them to a better situation, but at least one of them is going to have to work through years of thinking it was their fault mommy and daddy got arrested. Thats a hell of a thing for a kid as young as six.
