When people saying "the economy is better" because the stock market is "DOING WELL." Never mind that basic necessities are more expensive than four, five years ago. The people that say that are well off and don't HAVE to worry about any financial troubles NOW.

The people that say that are either partisan hacks, or economically alliterate retards.

The economy as well as the factors that affect it are complex and nuanced, but in terms of individuals, the economy always has and continues to primarily benefit the owners of assets. If you are someone who has been invested in assets for the past 5-10 years all you are seeing is green so who cares if prices go up a bit? For everyone else though things are becoming increasingly impossible to afford to the point where why would anybody believe they would be able to afford a decent house?

When I hear myself speak these days I basically sound like a Conservative/Republican when that's one of the last things I want to be. I'm ok with being a bit right leaning on many things, but every time I think about the bs going on in the world I genuinely cannot think of a reason I would ever side with the left seeing as how bat shit insane they've gone and how they run cover for all of the fucked up degeneracy we're seeing.

I try to be in the "live and let live" camp, try to come up with nuanced beliefs that "just because some of these people are degenerates doesn't mean that we should take away all of their rights", etc, etc, but every time I do that, some nigger, poo, fag, or troon pulls some next level heinous shit, and instead of being condemned, they're applauded, disregarded, lied about, covered for, and no matter how many times we see it, we're told, "That's not happening, you're just a nazi bigot". I just can't drink the cool-aid. There are unironically gender-special communists trying to gain as much power as they can literally anywhere they can attempting to destroy society, and I as much as I don't wanna be some right wing moral fag, I can't just pretend like that isn't actually happening.

I used to like drinking those Bolthouse Farms smoothies and iced teas. Not exactly the pinnacle of healthy (although they certainly market themselves that way) but certainly better for you than soda. One of those little bottles that you can finish off in like 3 decent sips runs over $5 now, close to $6 while a 2 liter bottle of store brand soda you can get for like $1.20. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

I recently saw an ad for some sports drink that doesn't have the artificial colors other sports drink have and that are bad for you, but when I went to price it at the store the next time I shopped, it sold for about $2.79 a bottle whereas a 10-12 pack of Gatorade cost far less per bottle. It's ridiculous that those choosing to be healthful with what they eat and drink have to pay so much more for it than what they'd pay for the stuff that's bad for you in some way or another.

I'm pressing X to doubt prices will go down. Barring an occasional quirk exception, the only prices I've seen decrease are items that are either overstocked or on closeout because nobody wants them to begin with.

There’s this black guy in my neighborhood who is a literal porch monkey, anytime a neighbor leaves their home to do anything, he zips right out and sets up shop on his porch and just stares at them without saying anything.
