LawTube - Lawyers sperging at each other on YouTube

I doubt Hoeg is going to get involved. A stroke almost did him in last year.

Emily D Baker used to go on Racket's stream. I guess with her mainstream media success she is abandoning the whole mess.
Yes, I checked Hoeg's Twitter yesterday, and it appears to me that he's completely unengaged, just talking about video games as he likes to do instead.

Similarly, it appears that Legal Bytes is also not saying shit, rather simply continuing to cover a televised trial she's been following, an amusing reminder of the kind of streams Nick used to do. A slim chance that she made some remark about Nick in response to a superchat over seven hours of livestreaming since, but it would be difficult to find if it exists.

Youtube Keyword Search is pretty good for finding that sort of thing. Quick look suggests no matches relating to "Nick" in her latest streams.

LOL, he thinks Sean is Andrew.
But how does he know about the anime stuff to begin with?

But I know how she's feeling right about now :story:

They both generally stay far away from Drama.
Nick and EDB never seemed that close to nick, and her general pro family broad stream appeal I don't blame her not wanting to get anywhere near this dumpster fire.

Kurt saying something along the lines of "I didn't see the pattern and had to have it pointed out to me and now I see it" was both hilarious and sad at the same time.

You can do it Kurt! You can find your boyfriend free gal! Just don't show her any cooking videos.

Yeah… I felt legit bad for him crying on his stream.

What really pissed me off is that despite of Kurt being a depressed (actual!) autist, I don’t have a doubt that he seriously considered Nick a good friend.

(As well as someone to emulate and look up to.)

The pastor turned him in? Well fuck the pastor for hurting Kurt’s friend! When everyone else on lawtube had dumped Nick because fuck getting close to that dumpster fire, Kurt still showed up.

And this means… Nothing to Nick. He never thought about inviting Kurt to his little YouTuber chat. Most of Kurt’s phonecalls were likely never returned.

Fuck you Nick, you’re such a piece of shit.

Kurt, retardedly, went to bat for Nick when this happened despite the last time he was on Nick's show Nick was an asshole to him. Kurt even acknowledged that Nick was trying to get him to say something racist so that Nick could turn it around on him and laugh at him and still said he considered Nick a friend.

Anyone else would have said "fuck that guy, he was an asshole to me" but Kurt couldn't do that.

Ugh. Nate's inability to read is just infuriating. Motherfucker, you're an adult and a lawyer, how is it possible that your reading skills are at the level of the slow kid in middle school?

Call me a softie, but being a friendless autist makes me more sympathetic, not less.

You'd think that but Kurt not being able to think past his friendship with Nick and consider Nick's children just shows how bad off Kurt is. Getting upset at the priest because he turned your friend in (for the good of the children) is retarded.

In that vein, Kurt and Sean singing a Cuck rendition together of the Duck Tales opening theme was heart warming.

Kurt is socially stunted in the "I can visibly see him struggle with emotions" kind of way. I like him (but won't watch him because fuck lawtube at this point) and believe his change of opinion is genuine.

I doubt Hoeg, EDB, or LegalBytes will get into this anytime soon, at least not until the drama has died down and there's more established in the official, public record.

Hoeg was never really into drama, and was never really a fan of Nick I don't think. He'd appear on the Rittenhouse panel as it was reasonably tame with a group of lawyers all analyzing in real time, and after that, his appearances were very infrequent before dropping off entirely after a short period. Basically the same story for Emily, I think.

LB, I'm sure she's bursting at the seams to say something, but is reserving that for private conversation. I'm sure she had her fill of drama and shit slinging over the course of those couple months at the tail end of the Depp trial and in the aftermath. I'd at least hope she learned some lessons from that..

Basically I'm doubtful any of the 3 will cover the case in the short term, and if they do at all, think we're likely 1+ months away from it, at minimum.

Seeing as Kurt come across as a lonely person, I can understand why he wanted to stick up for Nick so long.
He considered him to be a friend and friends are suppose to stick up for each other (Nick would never do it).

That bitch will be happy to struggle session you before she allows you to go anywhere with her. After her fallout with lawtube due to the DUI guy at the Depp trial, she started struggle sessioning everyone to see who were her enemies and who were her friends.
