Inactive Andrew Dobson / Tom Preston / CattyN - STOP DOING SEXIST CRAP

Yeah. I will take that "news" with a massive amount of salt. I bet half a sandwich that most of those so called "queers" teens are saying it to look more unique.
It didn't specify in either of the articles I looked up, but I assume the survey was anonymous. In this context queer only means "not exclusively attracted to the opposite sex", so anyone who ever had bi-curious thoughts would put themselves at a 1 instead of a 0, eventhough they are still straight for almost all practical purposes. The articles overblow the meaning of queer for clickbaiting purposes, but I don't think there was a lot of posturing going on among the surveyed teens.

I took a cartooning class in high school, and one of the things we did was to take a bottle of ink and a little thing that blew air around, drop a few drops of ink on a little card, blow the ink around as it flowed down the page, and then draw a monster out of what came out of it. 30 days of that would fit Inktober more then what Dobbo did.

And this is big news why?
Because it's progressive, I guess?

All it tells me is that it was a very slow news day.

Yknow he really hates BLONDE and EFFEMINATE Link, but that Link is certainly not very brunette or manly...

Also seriously how does he not once realize that he's missing the point of INKtober? Does he just never check the tag? Does he think he's "overachieving" by also coloring in the images? What a dope.
I doubt he even cares anymore, considering he was probably forced into doing this to begin with.

And really none of these, save for Godzilla are any good. Quick rundown:
- Blonde Link, lines around nose makes him look older than needs to be.
- Lapis's hair (not face this time, thank god) has the unnessicary lines going on.
- Tracer's freckles make her look sickly.
- Don't know how, but he somehow managed to make Hiro look old/ugly without the use of wrinkle lines. Baymax looks eeeeeeeeeh.
- Godzilla's his best, but that's not saying much- He looks like he would blend in with an all black background, and I think Dobson traced him.

Again, lots of unnecessary lines age the character. I also have no idea what that expression was supposed to convey.

Amazing. So when you redefine "queer" to mean "normal," most people are that.

the thing with dobbo colouring his inktober pieces is that you can still do things like that with ink. Coloured inks, inkwashes, hatching, crosshatching, stippling, all ways to colour and render your ink pieces without breaking the rules of the challenge. hell, even sparse marker useage could be argued to count in the right hands. with his odd stiffy for excessive lines, i'd have thought dobson would love hatching and crosshatching.
