Nick is not so absurdly rich to have $100k in cash sitting around. People with more money than Nick, at least those good with it, will tend to have to it making money for them, even the cash they would like to have readily available. A reasonable five figure saving for immediate use, a money market account to draw more from, a variety of CDs that mature at different times to be used if necessary, investments they can more easily liquidate, etc. Rich people have assets and some cash on hand, not a Scrooge McDuck money vault in their checking account.
It could also be that probation hasn’t asked her to test yet so there’s no reason to put up the money until they request something she doesn’t want to do.
