I can speak somewhat personally on this, if they were erupted she wouldve been noticably puffy and definitely in pain. My bottom wisdom erupted and holy fuck it was the worst pain ever, was totally infected as well. There's no way she wouldn't have been tweeting about it, especially if she's getting fucking food poisoning.

I think I made it through a few days (all while crying and huge pain eating) before I immediately went to get it looked at. I had to wait for the infection to go away before they even attempted extracting. I also was put under (recovered pretty quick though) and given stiches but I wasn't talking normally for at least a few days.

Maybe we rely on bottom teeth more hence the quicker recovery, but I'm calling major bullshit on her getting wisdom removed and not even taking a day to recover. I barely wanted to even talk the first day everything hurt.

My same thought. It was a years ago, but the way I remember my dentist explaining it to me was that everyone has to get stitches. The kind you receive and how many sutures depends on the extraction/practice but stitches help with the healing process, keeps food from being trapped in the extraction site, as well as lower the risk of an infection.
I could possibly believe some of her ability to speak/stream. When I got mine removed, I removed them before they could give me issues, not sure how much that mattered but I assumed the zero complications contributed to me being able to eat soft foods and speak the same day mine were out without issues of pain. I wasn't comfortable, but I wasn't miserable either. Also the drugs given helped.

When I got my wisdom teeth extracted they did half on one side and then the other half two months later. Upper wisdom teeth did not need stitches as it was a clean pull, but the dentist had to make incisions to get the lower wisdom teeth removed. I didn't have to have anything in my mouth, just told not to eat for 6 hours and not to touch the stitches.
No pain in upper gums, but both times the lower gums got irritated and I had to use ibuprofen to stop myself from grinding teeth. Never had any issues talking or eating
