Nice.
So are we 100% sure Kayla didn't post bond and is on supervised release instead?
Also, according to the bond docs above, Nick only had to post $5k (10%).
Why would Nick post the bond but not Kayla?
Surely they must have $10k cash between the two of them, right?
Even if the bond had to be fully collateralized, they must have $100k in other assets (cars, house), right?
Why Nick, but not Kayla? Is this a money thing? Why else?
I've heard the theory that Kayla has her own attorney that's advising her differently than Nick, but that doesn't really makes sense to me.
I can't see why an attorney would advise their wealthy & chemically dependent client (Kayla) to sign up for a conditional bond (state drug tests), if the client can afford unsupervised release & private concierge outpatient treatment and chemical detox? Or am I wrong about that?
From my view, you'd always want to post the unconditional bond (if you could afford it), so you can get your life back together without having the sword of Damocles (violating a condition) hanging over your head.
Nick clearly is doing unsupervised these so he can keep drinking legally (possibly more).
What's Kayla's deal?
