I actually think there are probably at least 3 jurors who aren't having it. I am pretty sure I know which one is the happy juror and it is -not- either of the two lawyers. The two lawyers who just got the Jury Instructions From Hell. Both of whom had no red flags of being rabidly antitrump. Would explain the request for the jury instructions back. And if it is either of those two, this is 100% a mistrial. Lawyers do not like budging on matters of law when they are right.

I think people put a too much importance on the losing direct SS protection. Trump can hire the best security money can buy and rightfully make the RNC pay for some of it. Its not like the SS kept Kennedy from getting popped. If I was Trump I'd rather be surrounded by Blackwater-type guys than DEI quota SS agents. Potentially losing SS protections on random people planning to kill him would be a problem(ie no more doorknocks on schizo facebook people).

Nope. The judge has given some very unusual jury instructions that's I'm not going to pretend to really understand but it sounds like they will need at least 4 to get a hung jury this time.

I think you may be confusing the judge's claim that "you don't have to agree on the predicate crime" with the number of jurors it takes to reach a guilty verdict. You are incorrect in stating that a non-unanimous verdict is sufficient to find Trump guilty. That is not the case: he can only be convicted unanimously.

To be fair, the posted jury instructions look designed to be confused to relay and to understand. Though yes, it still needs to be unanimous that he committed -an- underlying crime, but they are 'allowed' to disagree on what that underlying crime was. Which is retardation and supremely unconstitutional.

This matches with some of the theorizing I've seen tonight. One of the interesting ideas is it's the TDS-addled members requesting the jury instructions in order to attempt browbeating the holdouts into accepting a guilty verdict. If true, and if the lawyers are the holdouts it makes a mistrial more likely given it turns the jury room into a battle of attrition between lawyer autism and TDS insanity.
