Depending on the laundry arrangement, it might not even be possible for a kid to access it. The dryer at my work apartment is installed at head level. I wouldn't be able to reach that without a stool when I was 13.

Dryers are also not child-friendly, what if the water tank is full? A 13-year-old might not be strong enough to pull it out and empty it.
Dryers require maintenance, does this fat idiot expect the child to clean all the dust after using it? 5 kids, the water tank will get full real quick and the dust will need to be cleaned multiple times.

The historical argument will never not be funny to me. You can find pretty much every kind of completely vile behaviour in one culture or another at one time or another. If that becomes our standard, quite literally everything goes. And there's a reason, we are living in relative wealth and security today. It's because overall our socities have become better and more evolved.
Yes, I know people like to sperg about "kids these days" and how modern technology has ruined society. But everyday live a hundred years ago, even in the western world, sucked ass.

That's why I don't get about that defense (and I am using that term very loosly here). Sure, you can have your children do some chores around the home. Heck, a lot of us that have younger siblings have looked after them at one point or another. There's nothing wrong with that. The parents still have the responsibility though, and if they are drugged out of their minds and neglecting their children, that's 100% on them. And no amount of early growing up is going to change that fundamental issue.
And anyways, legally you are responsible as a parent to care for your minor children. It doesn't matter if you delegate that task to the older kids.

Yeah I mean that's the essence of why Nick and Kayla fucked up. Whether they do it themselves, make children do it, get a housekeeper (which they could have easily afforded), or wait for Laundry Fairy to do her job - at the end of the day the task has to be accomplished, and if it isn't, the responsibility lies entirely with parents.
EVS doesn't understand that, because he normalised his own childhood neglect and now thinks it's normal for parents to have no responsibility. I wouldn't read too much into them using the word "cuck". Cuck on the right is what incel is to the left, just a term being thrown around that has lost all meaning. It's the right wing equivalent of, left wing loonies calling married people with children incels.
