And... Isn't this whole line of discussion a little hypocritical on a website that is literally dedicated to the sole purpose of monitoring people on the internet to laugh at them?

I'm just here to talk about Mormonism. Because I'm accused of being one, apparently.

Calm down a bit here I'm not going to convert to the church of LDS.

I was curious if these guys are somewhat trinitarian. And even if they aren't how do they respond to this question.

It is also pretty obvious what the Mormons are from a practical perspective. We have to look to Calvinism to understand them I think. I am no Calvinist but I understand that Jean Calvin created his theology specifically for people living in cities who have to deal with the degeneracy inherent within. If you are Catholic and this bothers you consider that all of the Protestant Churches utilized things they originally got from the Catholic church.

The Mormons are a similar sort of reaction to the industrialization and the 20th century. I call the 20th century the serial killer century because of how evil everything is and was and the Mormons have escaped or at least been more resistant to some of the worst parts of the 20th century. The 20th century is over but we are still living in it's shadow.



I am interested in using the Mormons as somewhat Christian Jews. Governments often find or found that Jews were good for tasks in which you couldn't trust people or were somewhat unsavory like manufacturing weapons. But Jews are a little too separate quite frankly. There is also the fact that Jews will never ever find peace because of their denial of Christ. Jews are liable to become secular and then become revolutionaries. This is a problem.

I wondered if you were Catholic, since you asked if Mormon theology would agree with Catholic theology.

At any rate, we are on page 27 of a thread about Mormonism, so I don't think this is a thread about you, me or anyone else at this point. We are just here to talk about Mormonism.
