No we lose regardless. I’m not so much worried about Trump, as I am how bold the “elites” are right now + how complacent we are as a people. Just a lot of concerning trends coming from the entirety of the west.

I agree. Appeal working out is very unlikely, less likely than him not being convicted on this.
appeals still take time, and of course there's always the Supreme Court which I know also has a chance to deny any appeal assuming that they even take it, so I guess we'll just see what happens in the future.
