Biden has been in federal political office since '72 and is a raging chickenhawk. In his long Senate career he supported every single war or "intervention" the US has ever undertaken, and we've recently engaged in multiple conflicts like bombing Iran and Yemen that should have required congressional declarations of war but don't simply because of GWOT-era modifications to the War Powers act (which Biden again helped enact back in the day.) Biden was eagerly helping the neocons spearhead violent US imperialism before my father started junior high school, lmao

Partly because he won over a lot of 2016 votes on anti-establishment, drain-the-swamp promises and then completely failed to deliver.

Partly because all the people who thought he was a meme candidate with no chance in 2016 actually came out to vote against him in 2020.

Partly because the black vote came out for Biden.

Partly because covid was a clusterfuck and the incumbent President was going to eat tons of shit for it no matter how it was handled.
