People going on about the Thunderdome "destroying KF's reputation" is honestly hilarious. If you snapped every single Thunderdome user out of existence, the site would've still been dragged through all the same shit it's been dragged through, because it still would've angered the tech trannies. Just instead of having to listen to retards defend blatant censorship bills because they "own da libtards", you'd have to listen to retards defend similarly blatant censorship bills because they "own da chuds".
If anything, the Lolcow Salon's had more of an impact on the site's reputation than the Thunderdome, hence why people from outside website like the various chans and the sharty lump Kiwifarms in with places like Crystal Cafe and lolcow.farm now. Whether you think that's a good thing or a bad thing is up to you, but it's certainly undeniable.
