Let's not forget, Ketamine is used as a horse tranquilliser. Yikes.
Ketamine has been widely used in humans since 1970.
Paramedics commonly administer ketamine to car accident victims to provide pain relief and sedation while they are transported.
Over the past five years, ketamine clinics have popped up all across the United States, where it is deployed as a rapidly-acting antidepressant on an outpatient basis.
Ketamine is also used in hospitals, where palliative care physicians increasingly prescribe it for severe pain which does not respond to opiates.
That said, ketamine is completely illegal in Minnesota. (Schedule I)
Has Nick ever relayed a happy story or seemed remotely happy to even have children?
Not that I can remember. Not even once . It's pretty clear to me that Nick resents his children.
I've never heard of Nick speak of them fondly. He seems cold towards them. I think he resents his role as a father.
Nick sees the children as standing in the way of his "freedom" to pursue an aesthetic lifestyle of fleeting pleasures like casual sex and drugs.
I'm sure Nick is relieved right now that he is free to drink to excess, legally, without the responsibility to care for the children, including driving them around.
Nick hates his responsibility towards them and sees his church, extended family, wife and children as a burden rather than a gift.
