I think it’s not just because of that. I think it’s also because according to some people TEMU has been some sketchy things according to some YouTubers. But I haven’t done that much research so am not sure how true or accurate it is.

To address all your points, this is how I feel about this.
- Any and all reasons to visit Hong Kong are gone now that China is passing it's national security law. That's a Rubicon that the CCP will never relent on. It would also be a suicidality retarded idea to go to China any time in the near future considering tensions are rising not just over Taiwan but also over the South China Sea and China's border disputes with India.
- Temu being taken issue with because it's a Chinese company. Yes, there's no disputing that. China is a hostile foreign power hell bent on bringing down the US and fucking over all of it's neighbors, and doesn't even mention Temu as a company. Temu violates sanctions by utilizing Uygur slave made products, they dump very low quality goods onto foreign markets, the service is also so bad it might as well be considered malware, as indicated by this class action lawsuit.
- YouTubers who spam their TikToks everywhere are sub-60 IQ retarded cattle. I refuse to touch the site because ByteDance is Chinese and subject to the arbitrary whims of their Politburo and their security laws, I am not interested in short form content in general, but it's also because of my deep seated hatred for Communism.
