The only real Rubicon moments are a) Trump has been murdered b) or Trump loses the election due to visible fraud. Everything else has the hope of an alternate solution, even if the hope may not materialize. If Trump gets struck off the ballot he can be a write in. If he gets grievously injured he can recover. If he goes to jail he can still be voted for. The only hard limits are him dying or losing the election. Last election was not a Rubicon event because people still had hope that the election mechanisms would correct that fraud, but now everyone knows that if the election is stolen then no amount of fighting will save it - and there will never be a next chance. Either the moment Trump is killed or the day after the election is stolen is when people give up hope in the system and start attacking it.

I'm not normally the type to see silver linings to all this, but I've a feeling that once the afterglow of the Orange boogeyman being put away fades, the split between the mainstream liberals and hard leftists is going ratchet up. The uniparty is going to try to put the Golem back into the box now that it no longer is useful to them, but it's not going down without a fight.

The appeals court is five black women. If you're expecting them to give a shit about precedent, lmao.
If they reject an appeal it's going to be like that moment in HBO's Rome where Caesar's enemies bring a motion to declare Caesar an enemy of the Republic knowing that Mark Antony can veto it - it's meant to be a political manoeuvre. Except due to the chaos Mark Antony doesn't veto it meaning they've just declared war. Dangerous games!

BTW, on the subject of pardons as I understand it: The President cannot pardon people for State crimes, only Federal crimes. And yet, in order to bring this to court given the statute of limitations has expired they had to link it to a federal crime, even though jurors were not required to agree on what that federal crime was.

So the crime he committed is only a felony because it links to a federal crime, but he can't pardon himself because the crime itself is not federal. It's basically Schrodinger's Felony.

This is not a Rubicon moment because there is a still a legal path to resolution. It’s just a retarded moment that makes America look like a shithole country.
For now. What you are gonna do when they off Trump in prison like they did Whitey Bulger? I'm sure Trump will be "accidentally" placed with everyone else and "somehow" some inmates will immediately start attacking him and beat him to death. And then the media says it was totally an accident, some prison director gets a cushy promotion in some other industry, and anyone who criticizes the official story is deemed a conspiranazi.

Reactions: The Nothingness
There is not a single element of the Trump case that will endure a legitimate appeal of any kind.

From the jury selection being openly biased from the start, to the multiple violations of constitutional law enacted, to the complete refusal by the judge to hear exhonerating evidence of any kind, this court case is notable only because, like the summary judgment one before it, it's a complete violation of nearly every aspect of said law.

Brought to you by the same party that brought you "The second amendment doesn't exist in my courtroom" last month.

To writ: The Donald was convicted on a charge that's an accessory to a primary charge that isn't defined, outside the statute of limitations, by a jury that didn't have to be unanimous or even fucking agree on what the charges were, after having multiple prosecution witnesses lied openly and got caught under oath during the whole fucking thing to the point where even CNN staffers were calling the fucking trial a sham on-air. It is - honestly - somehow, impossibly, even more blatant than Alex Jones-ing him was.

This ruling does nothing but help him. I don't know what clown thought this was good press for the Dems, but holy shit, guys, keep doing it.

All of what you wrote is true.

So, what are the consequences? That's the true question. And I do not think we would like most of the answers.

That all depends. Trump is going to turn this into the funniest goddamn campaign promo ever, the same way he did when the morons handcuffed him.

They will cope, they will seethe, they will make demands like they have legitimacy, and the usual news agencies will remind you that no matter how much you think you hate them, you do not hate them anywhere near enough.

Everything else is up to the whims of clown world.

I just see it now. Something that captures the spirit of the Apple 1984 commercial. The commercial will go like this:

THe backdrop is a greyscale imposing totalitarian dictatorship, with pretentious elderly yellers on top of very tall podiums. You look down and there's a very long row of prisoners chained together and being forced to shuffle forward by abusive gangsters. The prisoner in the front is hunched over, but stands up straight to reveal that he is Trump. With a mighty yell he forcefully shatters his chains which causes all of the chains to shatter in a chain reaction, he inspires the prisoners to rise up and confront the yellers behind the podiums, who shreak on rage as the podiums topple down and take them with them. Trump is surrounded by the free people, them all raising their fists in the air. The video is superimposed by the test of a catchy slogan spoken by a narrator, then fades to black while "Trump 2024" fades in.

The same people who say a line was crossed today are the same ones that say a line was crossed with COVID four years ago. Same ones that said a line was crossed in 2008 when we bailed out companies that should’ve failed. Seems like crossing lines don’t mean shit. This one totally will matter, though.
Every line crossed is a step closer to a tipping point. At each one of these crossed lines, something happened. A few lone wolves went retard. Institutions began shifting their priorities. People bought more ammo (where such things are legal). Each time, more people began to reduce their exposure to the political situation and retreat into insular communities. Each time it was more than before.

The thing to remember about tipping points is that they are inherently unpredictable; at what point does a few grains of sand tumbling down a slope turn into a landslide? You only know the landslide is happening after it has already started, but it started a long time before it was noticeable and often nowhere near where you experience the outcome.

Welp, going for a big one this time.
This country is officially fucked. We’ve crossed the rubicon for real
We are so close to crossing the rubicon, it isn't funny.

Nigger, where have you been at the last 5 years? It's been crossed back and forth like 7 times now.
The only real Rubicon moments are a) Trump has been murdered b) or Trump loses the election due to visible fraud.
And this is pure fucking cope, your elections were stolen 4 years ago and fuck and all fucking happened. They also published articles telling how they did it so they can snub your nose into the shit. Never forget, they did it, got away with it and want you to know it https://time.com/magazine/us/5936018/february-15th-2021-vol-197-no-5-u-s/
Lmao I got banned from the DJT thread. I guess the mods decided it was better to just give TDS people on the farms a safe space to circlejerk and stop anyone interrupting them. Might be a good idea if only to keep things segregated.
I'm just amazed that people in this forum that has been to such insane amounts of deranged defamation can suddenly take any sort of news related to Trump straight and without any sort of doubt.
I wasn't trolling. Maybe jannies shouldn't have linked the TDS containment thread as the place to go for the site highlight of the news. I just wasn't ready for HHH sheer autistic hate of Orange Man. Dude literally sounds like a NPC, even compared to the other TDS people in the thread his posts are just that over the top.
Be thankful it didn't direct to this thread or we would have been derailed for at least 50 pages. And yes, HHH is the personification of the NPC meme when it comes to Trump, just ignore him and treat him like the neighborhood crazy hobo. I went through the highlights and watching him deny the laptop and the relationships between Biden, Hunter and foreign powers had my eyes rolling to the back of my head. We are at a point where people live in separate realities and there is no conciliation possible outside of avoiding those topics/people outright.
I know it's not a popular take because most of the users here are burgers.
But a weak US president is doing the rest of the world a favor so we don't have to deal with your retarded foreign policies.
I like ameribros, but you got some brainrotted politicians stuck in the cold war era (+zealous warhawk doctrine).
A weak US is still exporting it's deranged culture everywhere anyway, maybe they won't be playing world police, but you WILL suck the tranny dick to not be a filthy fucking bigot and like it.
Explain to me how a section of the site that's hidden from public viewing has done any harm to the site's reputation?

Other than faggots like you constantly talking about how terrible it is on the sections of the site that are publicly viewable, of course.
A&N has 0 relation to the sites reputation pains. The fact that mentally ill faggots that wore dresses while they jacked off suddenly became a protected class is what has given the farms the lethal reputation it has today. That a lot of other retards suddenly "broke the code" and started doing the same caused bigger issues. Well that and Thwomp face's dedication to destroying the farms is total and absolute.
The reputation that went from "lolcow site" to "tranny hate capital of the internet".
Nothing to do with A&N and a lot to do with trannies being sacred cows that screech a lot.
Null hid it from public view specifically because it brought negative attention to the site.
You already got corrected on this shit, but it was a SEO thing, reposting articles like mad tanks your reputation in search engines and A&N is chock full of that.
Imagine the smell!
Null angrypoosting at users are my favorite posts on this website. It's the tasmanian devil shredding a whole hock of meat in written form.
Ooperator always goes in hard, no matter what.
call me a boot licker but i don't think you should antagonize the man who pays the bills here.
People have the strangest rebellious streaks.
Begging a head mod to ban someone because they called you a retard is embarrassing.
I mean, you are a gigantic faggot, but yes, that is indeed also incredibly gay.
I assume Biden will now claim it doesn't fit the dignity of the Office of the President to hold a debate with a felon
Seems like it was the plan the whole time since they agreed to it. Well see if this actually pans out but it's what I expect.
I think this is going to be a stress test for those afflicted with TDS. As retarded as those people seem, the truth is that they are just regular people under a spell from the propaganda, and this poses the risk of breaking that spell.
Just go to the featured thread and you will see a lot of them are still fine and dandy, no dissonance here baby. But yes, some will break through, but the more diehards will never do it since breaking that would literally break their minds.
I've heard this exact line in many variations so many times now. "X went to far this time, surely the normies will start thinking now." The fault in this logic is assuming people are as well informed as people actually paying attention. They hear what the TV box or social media tells them, and that's the end of that. There is no further critical thinking involved.
Pretty much, normies don't give a shit or are aware till they are affected personally or have any reason to pay more attention to things. A lot of normies also believe the propaganda that the system is just and the fed is there to help. There are a ton of people that fall into that template. Not actively malicious or anything of the sort, but who have no reason to pay attention and start noticing that...
Get a load of this fag, coming in with his "rule of law." The only things that create favorable rules and "justice" are force and the fear of force. That's it. Since one side is willing to use these and the other isn't, there isn't going to be much justice doled out to the Red Team any time soon.
Is the true law. Might makes right has never stopped being the rule of the land, it's just that Might has changed forms. It always goes back to that, when you play by the rules and the other plays underwater calvinball, you are destined to lose no matter what.
The breakdown going on here makes me feel a little better about the mobs going after me on the Reiketa thread saying a lot are probably not entirely different from him when it comes to drug use, only by degree and I got thrashed lol.
Well, everybody is a responsible drug user till it turns out they aren't.... you insisted too much and honestly got annoying, but I perfectly understood what you meant. But I'm one of those puritans whose worst substance abuse is sugar and coffee.
Oy vey, maybe the kikes are starting to reconsider fucking with the most Pro kike president in ages?
I really really doubt a civil war or collapse will occur. The most likely scenario is an early 90's Soviet style slow decay just with more anal pride parades.
I hope something big happens for once, but I sadly agree that I expect this. Just look at any country in South America, that is your future, slow rot and stagnation.
All of what you wrote is true.

So, what are the consequences? That's the true question. And I do not think we would like most of the answers.
It always comes back to that, since there are never any real consequences, there is never any fear of doing more and more retarded shit. Will that lead to consequences someday? Hopefully, but till then I can only wait and observe.

but nothing happened, dude
the world totally didn't go insane when an outsider to the political clusterfuck got elected
nothing ever happens
like how ukraine wasn't invaded when a geriatric dementia patient was totally the most popular us presidential candidate in history

people are just too used to sensationalist nonsense to understand real life isn't some wack ass fairy tale where one inciting incident causes everything to go tits up
its multiple inciting incidents and compounding factors over a long time scale that lead to historic upheavels

I hope Benny isn’t losing sleep on this. If anything, I think he might have to change up his YT thumbnails for the rest of the Spring into the Summer season.
I called it. I Fucking called it!
Gotta love the bolster these people have in counting their chickens before they hatch. I think the trail is a complete sham but I knew a N.Y. trial wasn't going to go well for Trump and a conviction was the inevitable outcome. This guy is the type of person to say "people are definitely going to finally wake up now!" for the millionth time after making such a poorly aged image.

Do you not remember what happened during the three months following the night of the fraudulent counts? First there were several lawsuits, which were eventually rejected due to latches (can't stop the steal because it hasn't happened yet, can't stop the steal because it's in progress, can't stop the steal because it is over). There were forced recounts, there was an appeal to the SCOTUS, and there was the Republican controlled Senate and vice president that could've vetoed the results. These were all things that people assumed would be actually functioning checks and balances. But then the courts ignored the evidence - including the counters being caught on camera pulling suitcases of fake ballots out once the poll watchers were locked out, the SCOTUS refused to listen to the case, the Senate chose to accept the results (Citing the Jan 6 incident as their reasoning), and the vice president accepted the results.

There were at least a dozen opportunities where people legitimaty believed that the rule of law would correct the fraud, and a dozen times where the fraud prevailed.

Most importantly, the Jan 6 false flag attack showed everyone that if they go in guns blazing without a plan they would be tricked and made an example of. These people have had four years to come up with a plan, and they no longer have faith in the rule of law to correct the injustice. Come election day people have a plan to make their own justice.

We're in a 'death by 1000 cuts' sort of scenario. Slowly, each obvious injustice jades more people. Right now, there are still avenues that aren't obviously cut off(Trump can still be on the ballet, appeals are still in play(even if the courts have been proven to be rotten, there still are times they make the right, by way of how the laws are written, decision)) but if those get messed with, its more pressure that can't be safely released.
