One Piece - I'm Gonna Be the Pirate King!

Imu is a Celectial Dragon. Those have harems. If Imu remains celibate, it is a choice he made.
Imu might just be gay and have over 800 years worth of pent-up denial. He might have just been a fag hag all along.

Katakuri felt a lot more intense than a slog the second time going through it so I did end up with a much better impression of the arc.
This is probably because the Katakuri fight goes next level once you get his backstory and context into the "Unbeatable Man" Facade. All the man wants to do is eat doughnuts and be happy but he can't out of fear that people might hurt his little sister again.

That shits fucked yo.

Elders: Great Imu you can have what ever you want, as many women as you need.
Imu: For the last time, stop getting me women and get me a blooding watering can.
Elders: But Lord Imu…
Imu: HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU? WHEN I SAID ALL I WANT TO DO IS TEND TO MY GARDEN I WAS NOT JOKING!
Maybe the treasure of Mary Geoise is a bountiful harvest and beautiful flowers. Grown by Imu. Who also grows reefer and makes things out of hemp.

Random question: What do you think would it take for Yamato to stop calling herself Oden? I think marrying Momonosuke and inheriting the Kozuki name legally ought to do it. That way she can call herself a Kozuki for real. Seriously, losing your parents to a gang, being stranded at sea, starvation, being tortured and after all that trauma, a chick your age comes and tells you she is your dad. Life just played a massive joke at the expense of that little fella. I would not be surprised if she awoke trauma to every Kozuki supporter she encounders and there are demands she stops.

I have to think it’ll happen when all of Oden’s dreams are truly completed and realized. Then Yamato has a moment of going “Okay, now what?” Unless Yamato wants to go for the whole enchilada and die like Oden as well.

Regardless, celibacy is a choice for him. He might be fucking men or women but he is fucking.
Imu's literally teabagging the whole world.

When your dad is someone like Kaido who doesn't respect you if you're not strong, and as women aren't considered strong enough, he raised her to be the son he wanted, so Yamato will drop her Oden fangirl facade once she realizes her own purpose and place in the world. She wants respect and recognition from others, but most importantly wants to know she's actually wanted and someone of worth. Oden embodied everything Kaido clearly wanted, so she had to feel like she needed to become Oden to be someone.

I get people wanted her to become a new Straw Hat, but it's better for her to find her own crew to become the leader she's clearly striving to be.

Well, it was also a very spread out fight in like 10 chapters sprinkled between events, when reading that weekly it's a huge slog. I didn't remember his relation with Brulee for example and though he just liked donuts and looking like a badass for "reasons", so it's not like if the end context made me enjoy it more. Some stories just really suffer a lot when read weekly (Hajime no Ippo is insuferable if not read in bursts), I don't consider that One Piece's case, but well, it's more than 1000 chapters so stuff goes blurry after reading it 10 years ago or whatever.

Anyone who says this is a fucking plebian
Thriller bark is when I began reading week to week (I had caught up during water 7 but waited a few weeks to binge read a few chapters). So I'm always bias to Triller Bark, and the fight against Oars is one of the last times the Strawhats fought as a team. Brooks story is also good and the docking scene is peak comedy.

Tekking admits it's not a good dub at all, however, he does find it fascinating in just how much 4KIDS butcher it to where horseshoe theory kicks in in that it manages to still have "so bad, it's hilarious" moments that make him laugh just as much as the series does now.

Of course, comedy is subjective, and he has some nostalgia for it. He's one-of-a-kind and the fandom needs more people like him tbh.
The 4kids had the One Piece Rap which unironically slaps. Not as good as we are but better some of the OPs
Bro, it's unbelievable of how newfags, twitterists and redditors say that stuff needs to be handled in a serious way in those arcs. They're just literally programmed to hate them.
One piece has always balanced the comedy with seriousness. My favorite moment was Luffy getting his ass beat by Crocodile (one of the most serious villains) only for Luffy to bust out Water Luffy and make Robin laugh.

And i bet theyre the same people who hated gear 5th and wanted it to be some all black haki form

Their leftist brains do not seems to notice the clear anti-BLM message in that arc. It is the story of a marginalised group seeking retribution against their oppressors and being willing to kill everyone in their path to get it including each other. The arc is about how being discriminated does not give you the right to discriminate. The New Fishman Pirates are based on the New Black Panther Party. Here is what members of the original Black Panther Party had to say about them (from wikipedia):
Holy Jones admits there's no reason he hated humans. Hr just did. Meanwhile Fisher tiger Jimbe, and Hacchan all had legit reasons to hate humans but saw the better. And while Jones used his Fishman minions as fodder, Arlong saw them as his brothers. Jones is one of the few villains who has no redeeming qualities.
I just remember Dressrosa being the never ending arc.
Everyone was saying that it was the worst arc as it was airing (ditto for Totto Land) but now they all are saying it is one of the best (again ditto for Totto Land).
Dress Rosa is definitely an art that's best binged. I returned to this arc as a few weeks binge until gear 4th was Unleashed.
I'm sure I'm late on this joke and also botched it, it just wouldn't leave me alone.

I always suspected that Roger called it Laugh Tale but when word spread it got confused with Raftel. Not sure if it existed in the original or not but only a few people would know it's original name.

Full-Body Haki only ever works when dealing with many weak to medium strength attacks coming from multiple directions like when Who 's Who used Shigan Barrage on Jinbe only to have his fingers broken instead. A concetrated attack will break through as Vergo and Pica found out.

Honestly, that is what I like about him. Society raised him this way and upon realising that he was, in part, made by the good king Neptune who allowed the Fishman district to become a ghetto and a nest for hatred to flourish. He was a bad guy but he was made by both an evil man (Arlong) and a good man (Neptune). It is a good lesson, both sides had a hand in what transpired.
