Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
So I was recently made aware of yet another example of why current horror fans are some of the biggest faggots on earth
Tl;dw another shitty analog horror channel centered around spongebob made the heckkin problematicerino decision to make Stephen Hillenburg a bad guy by killing his wife before he died, and now horror troons are upset that "YOU CANT SMEAR MUH HECKKIN WHOLESOME SPONGEBOB CREATOR'S NAME IN A FICTIONAL SERIES LIKE THIS!!!!!"
Series sounds like it sucks donkey dick like all tranalog horrors, but the people whining you couldn’t or shouldn't do this is even gayer and trannier.
"Scandals" like these are funny and tough, because the things they're criticizing ARE slop in every sense of the word, but the flaws they chose to hyperfixate on are the faggiest, most barely noticable problems no one in the real world actually cares about.
"See you in hell, Stephen Hillenberg" is funny as hell, especially with how they decided to use the ONE dude in Nickelodeon who we're pretty sure never had any kid-fucking desires.

Of course it would be a Russian cryptobro on Twitter who found it before anyone else
Archive.org only has one archive dating back to 2004, with the only other save being now well after the image was removed from their database. https://web.archive.org/web/20240000000000*/http://hobbytownoshkosh.com/Dsc00161.jpg

Well, their database doesn't even seem to exist anymore, I'm guessing the business is gone. The site looks like it's now just spambot territory. The other parts of the site actually have way more consistent archives. Here's 2003 for the main home page.

Some decently interesting stuff to see, but they really didn't have many images on most pages of the site.

That said there's a lot to see where there was. I'm guessing these could be after they renovated the area where the main backrooms pics were taken.

Some areas that could have had interesting details have broken images though. This intro page is where things were actually updated quite frequently.

You should be able to dig around for a lot of tidbits here. It's the archive site map.

And here it is! The actual page where they were discussing the renovations and included the two pictures, including the most famous one. Wow it is a weird feeling to see these talked about normally.

Funnily enough all of the images on this page are broken other than these two. And it was archived several times throughout the years it was up.

Based on what the page says, I'm assuming what I said above is true. It's very likely the inspiration for the backrooms as a concept are gone themselves. Fitting.

It does appear that the business still exists, they just jumped to a shorter url. There's multiple pages for different things that go on here. Here's what it looks like on the outside, at least I'm assuming it's the same place.

But the address from the old old homepage contradicts this.

versus the current two locations.

(Images are being a bitch)

From what I've read they are still in the back rooms location it just doesnt look anything like the famous photo. People in WI have claimed to visit the store before.
Two images on the revolution raceway page -

Image on the right looks a hell of a lot like the drop ceiling and lamp configuration of the original interior, but the problem is that's the Appleton location. How extensive have the renovations supposedly been?

I've mentioned it before, but man a weirdly constructed area. Like what's up with the open stables? From the sounds of it it sounds like they were renovating the insides of an existing building, which explains the inconsistent wallpapers, but what were those stables used for? Visual attractions? What about that one wall that doesn't quite touch the top of the ceiling?
Anyways, new backrooms lore just dropped so can't wait for the retarded kiddies to come up with more dumbshit "layers" to their wallpaper-phobia videos.

Most of the old creepypastas that everyone sucks off from a place of nostalgia did this a million times over. Gamefreak and Pokemon Devs hiding subliminal messages that make kids kill themselves in Lavender Town, Matt Groening accuractely predicting many deaths of celebrities in Dead Bart and getting antsy when you ask him about it, that story about the guy who made Crybaby Lane killing squirrels and then the Spongebob Crew using that as inspiration for Sandy, the creators of Rap Rat using him as a vessel for some kind of weird, freaky, rat demon. The entire idea was being removed from the creators of the media to the point that you could never ask them for confirmation. It's no different than Casanas slandering the good name of dead presidents and businessmen by making them sell weapons to the Krauts and weaponize creatures that could not be adequately understood by man. Horror kids are fucking retarded.

So I think this particular series made me lose 10 years of sleep because of how creepy it is...

It may be simple and tame at the first episode (just some garbled credits and logos without text freezing on the screen), but trust me, they get progressively worse.

Spoilers, an evil sentient AI is behind the hijacking and she is looking to be freed.

(I also recommend Lacey Games and The Human Latch.)
TL;DW it's an AH series about a sp00py jumpscare face popping up and corrupting BRB bumpers on children's TV networks from the 90s and 00s through a fictional cable box brand, sprinkled with a hint of FNAF (not joking, people even praise the creator for it in the last "episode"). Author is a self-admitted autistic tranny with exceptionally poor understanding of late 90s/early 00s tech despite claiming to be obsessed. Dude also lazily steals "references" famous creepypastas like Squidward's Suicide, Suicide Mouse, Rap Rat, the fucking "M A R I O" Super Mario World hack, and stupid shit like the Pokemon Porygon epilepsy episode.

2/10 Fuck you, I want my 2 hours back.

It’s hilarious when Stephen Hillenburg admitted before he died he regretted creating Sponge Bob in the first place because Sponge Bob toys are what is going to pollute the oceans and kill the wildlife he loves so much.

The building used to be a Furniture store and the "Backrooms" was just part of a dining room table display area
The Timestamped portion of this video has the Newspaper clippings from when the building was a Furniture store.

In that case, which analog horror series would you recommend?

>analog horror
that's your first mistake
In that case... Just horror, then? Late Night with the Devil and Martyrs (2008 ) are movies I'm planning to watch somewhere in the future.

How about Valle Verde? It manages to capture the PS1 game aesthetic very well.

I still think Kane Pixels' backrooms is good, and at least the early part of Mandela Catalogue. People figured out where the story was going and Alex (who does MC) started pivoting and is actively fucking up the story with his weird transformation fetish, but if you don't mind a story with no ending you could probably do the first season and a half of Mandela and find enough enjoyment out of it.

What do you guys think of Harmony & Horror? I just found about it and thought it was a solid series. This new genre of "psychological horror" where it's just nothing going on for 40 minutes and the occasional dark corridor absolutely bores me so I thought it was a breath of fresh air with them jumpscares. Best episodes without a doubt are The Miracle Child and The Perfect Pet from season 2.

I used to listen to Dreading all the time as background noise, but like a lot of people I got turned off when he started inserting more and more "character breaking" comments.
Dreading is an annoying lazy faggot anyway, so even if this CSA crossover ends up being a dud, I’m still enjoying watching the “harassment” he’s getting.

Seconding Kane Pixels’ Backrooms. I also enjoyed Vita Carnis, it scratched the itch I had after Mystery Flesh Pit ended. A teaser for season 2 was posted half a year ago, so I don’t think it’s abandoned (unless the guy announced it only on Xitter or something.)
