Careercow Donald J Trump - 45th/47th President of the USA, convicted felon, Epstein bro, Putin simp, serial liar, sore loser, cheat and the Chris-Chan of Presidents. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL DEBATE THREAD.

Alright, so here is what is going to happen. They will pass legislation to keep felons from running for presidency, OR they will send him to prison and use recently passed legislation that keeps felons from having protective services and he gets killed in prison.

We are entering total democrat domination era. Shit is grim boys.
this wont happen and even if they tried it would die in the supreme court. not only that but doing something that would prevent trump from running win or lose would hurt the dems way more than it would help them. the last thing the dems need is to further anger people on the right.

what will actually happen is trump will win because even the dems want biden out they know he is too old and only getting older. then like every single other time the dems will just complain about trump every single day until next election.

you gotta remember the next election after this year is going to be a big one because trump will no longer be an option and unless the dems fully lose their minds biden wont be running again either

. its going to be a clean slate for both sides with big implications for both sides. this years election is more for republicans to do their best to get as much power as they can now and make sure things are in their favor as much as possible for later on.

We're at a transition point for Congress and the Presidency in general. Tons of these old politicians are going to be literally dying off in the next several years.

There's a pretty good chance neither Trump nor Biden will be alive at the end of 2028.

US haven't afforded assassinations since MLK and JFK
The closest post-60s assassination was the 1981 Reagan assassination, in which he recovered. Even then there hasn't been an actual attempt of assassination as of yet, though I'm not sure if the Tuscon shooting of January 2011 counts, and even then it was a failed attempt

You couldn't ask for a better campaign photo-op. Working like a common man out in the field? Barring the blunt of political persecution with hard labor? The pathos and relatability is off the charts. It would directly send the message "Donald Trump knows what it's like to be punished unfairly by the legal system AND what it's like to have to toil with physical labor." Traits he's been severely lacking in as a boujee New York socialite.

2016 was lightning in a bottle. The magic was dead by 2020.
Not a political sperging thread so I'll frame this reply in relation to the thread subject, Don ran against a lazy, entitled, shitty at making others like them politician in 2016 and was able to capitalize on the opportunity. In 2020, the lazy, entitled, shitty at making other like them politician in the race was Don, and he got his ass kicked because of it. Same match-up is on the ballot in 2024 as '20, but this time a quote an incontinent, weak, convicted felon loser used on their former opponent applies to Don himself, just gender flipped; "If (he) were to win this election, it would create an unprecedented constitutional crisis. In that situation, we could very well have a sitting president under felony indictment and ultimately a criminal trial." Don doesn't want someone like him to be voted for, based on his statements on November 5, 2016, in Reno NV, how about that?
I think even Trump supported leaving for a time, even though he never bothered to make it happen.
Trump agreed to the withdraw timeline with the Afghan government. Biden adhered to the timeline agreed to prior to his election when Trump was in office once sworn in to the office. That was the sequence.
He was found guilty because he is guilty...he’s a convicted felon is all which actually changes nothing.
Don says it would create an unprecedented constitutional crisis, if you vote for him, according to claims he made in Reno on 11-5-16. So something has changed actually.
He is trending upwards again and back to being a -110 favorite.
Bossmanjack has better winning odds when he digitally flips a coin. Austin must be rich by now by several factors over as a result of this fact?

Also, the limitations were paused during Covid, so no, the Statute of limitations wasn't breeched.
How amazingly convenient. Nigga, in a political show trial everyone is guilty of something and everything is perfectly legal. Whether or not everything was done by the book is not the point. The point is the Book was Written by people who foreordained the outcome and wrote it for the political ends they wanted.

America has a functioning justice and court system, with juries and appeals and oversight, not a sloped corridor and a Makarov bullet. If politicians are committing crimes they should be charged and tried for their crimes. If prosecutors are only charging them out of political bias the problem is that they're ignoring the criminals on their side, not charging the criminals on the other side.

Not yet. Give it time. This is how you get there. Now that the judiciary is a tool of political power to get what you want outside the electorate. It's a tool that will be used more frequently and for less banal reasons. For once you start down the dark path....

The gist i’m getting from the last day in this thread is the system is totally rigged unless its a democrat being convicted of a crime, then it’s somehow magically fair and just.
No they're admitting that the system was fair and Trump was guilty, they're just saying it's basically Soviet show-trials that anybody cared enough to convict him for it.

It's pathetic that they've made Trump of all people the face of the absolute rot that has corrupted this country. If you are going to convict Trump at least do it on the documents case which is at least a crime.

Im still not sure Trump was even cognizant of what Cohen was doing on his "behalf". But people dont care about facts.
Isn't the documents case still coming, or was that thrown out?
