Every time I watch one of Anna's hauls, I am confused anew how she's managed to make a career as a "fashionista" but completely avoid learning about measuring tape.

It's not her fault she can't fit, it's the clothing's fault, and therefore Jessica Simpson's fault.
Some short clips from that video:

Walmart is SO vanity sized it’s not funny. Example of Sophia Vegara clothing —it is really one size bigger than the size on the tags. (I’m speaking of normal sizing though.)Walmart Plus Size Try On Haul: The New Jessica Simpson Collection

Feeder humiliation bait. Has to be. She's an idiot but even for her thinking some of those things were going to fit, come on. Has nothing to do with her height, or little, and everything to do with her deathfat proportions. Which she probably knows but doesn't want to acknowledge so she can keep on claiming she's a "2x up top".She forgot the word for "overalls". Much fashion, so style.
She could not put the overalls up over her bottom and fupa, so she decided the overalls were "not for tall people", despite the legs clearly pooling around her ankles with plenty of extra room. She said they overalls were for petite people, who would need to hem a full foot off the pants.
For context , got the jean jacket in 3x “because she’s a 2x up top”. She’s convinced walmart runs small when we all know it to be the opposite. So the 3x (really 4x) jacket is too small to close.Feeder humiliation bait. Has to be. She's an idiot but even for her thinking some of those things were going to fit, come on. I'll admit I thought for her the clothes were presentable and had an under stated elegance. The first dress and top was not overly country it just looked like a nice summer outfit. But I guess if it's not neon and showing all of her "candy juice" and "snatched waist" it's not a cool item, it's just country, or something.
I think she said she got those embroidered jeans in a size 26 and she couldn't even get them halfway up her thighs. But sure, Jessica Simpson's got something against big thighs. For context , got the jean jacket in 3x “because she’s a 2x up top”. Meaning she’s a 4x at walmart (aka 5x) . The only reason those 4x dresses can fit her bottom half is because they are designed to be loose and flowy there.
A size 26 that was really a 28, because Walmart has ludicrously vanity sized items for fatties.I think she said she got those embroidered jeans in a size 26 and she couldn't even get them halfway up her thighs. But sure, Jessica Simpson's got something against big thighs.

For anyone living outside of the US, the entire US is vanity sized.Walmart is SO vanity sized it’s not funny.
That range only runs to 4X, so she bought the largest sizes in everything except the white jacket. I’m sure Jessica Simpson didn’t have deathfats in mind when she designed the range.Maybe she is just straight up guessing because she isn’t the same size every day?
It shouldn’t make a lot of difference size wise because even if she varies 10lbs due to water weight, that ten pounds would be distributed over a very large body. Her problem is that she doesn’t buy the correct sizes to begin with. She thinks clothing fits when it’s two sizes to small. That’s where there’s no room for water retention.I wonder if her enormous size means that water retention basically renders sizing completely useless
Walmart is one of those online retailers where you can change the model to your height and body build and size so you get a better idea of what the clothes look like on you instead of a 5’10” size 2 model. Not that Anna could pick a model with her build but at least pick the largest “2x” “big-boned” 5’10” model lol. Anyway, length should not be an issue. The petite people know that there's no point in trying on overalls from big box stores, because the pant legs are going to drag after you like ridiculous little capes. The short people refuse to take responsibility for Anna's massive ass. This is her problem, not ours.
It's also a ridiculous excuse because the models who wear this stuff are probably around her height. She often brays about "tall girl problems!!11!1" when a skirt hits at the top of her thighs rather than her calf, while ignoring the fact that it hit in the right place on the model. Her thighs just do a number on the fabric, and she's utterly incapable of buying the correct size.
As people have already said, Walmart clothes tend to run quite large. It's not like Jessica Simpson is personally designing these and dictating the proportions, so her namesake line isn't any different. Anna has odd proportions that are exaggerated because of how massive she is, so she's just generally going to find a better fit if she sticks with separates or goes with dresses that are fitted on top and very loose below.
