Elden Ring

You know, I have a dumb theory because I noticed something- Marika seems to constantly make twins that are associated with red and gold. Malenia and Miquella are obvious, Mohg and Morgott had one follow his accursed crimson blood with the other following the golden order and even being given grace... The ONLY single children she had that's confirmed is Godwyn and whoever the fuck Godrick and Godefroy come from. Godwyn's golden hair and association with dragons made me wonder... Is Messmer his twin? Is that why he was rejected, because twins are mostly reviled outside of the Golden Order and they were both firstborns which means they both had equal claims to the throne?

It'd also explain why the Golden Order did its best to integrate dragon cult miracles, explain why dragons are orthodox with the gold under their scales despite the rule of Plasidusax coming to an end, and why Godwyn was easily able to forge an alliance with the dragons- he was one of their own in power while Messmer inherited the physical characteristics of the dragon. The fact that one of the twins had draconic characteristics after fending off the Dragonlord also gives another reason to send him away as it'd make people question the integrity of the ruling family in letting an at the time heretical child be a potential heir along with the usual crucible touched disgust, and having to let go of one of her children may have given Marika reason to spare the Omen children she would have later- she already knew the pain of letting one child go, so she did what she could to spare her accursed twins and keep them close to the capital.

I dunno, it's just interesting to me that Marika's lineage keeps spitting out twins including even Godrick (even if it isn't literal) and Godwyn just happens to be the only lone birth. Maybe that's why she was chosen? Does Malenia having several kids from one bloom or w/e count? Is that what it means to be an Empyrian? It'd be dumb but it IS accepted by the Golden Order, maybe that's why. Who knows, who cares.

When I first played Elden Ring, I didn't use a lot of things.
Bows and arrows? lol, no
Throwing pots? lmao, nop
Consumables and buffs from ashes of war? ain't nobody got time for that
Perfume bottles? nigga, game is almost over, fuck that shit
I barely even crafted anything.
Just Wondrous Physick, some spirit ashes and my weapon of choice.

So, this time around, I wanna spice things up. I'll use the most useless and goofy shit imaginable. I'll throw jars of literal shit at people.
So, I'm open to suggestion on builds. It doesn't have to be very specific or anything, keep it simple and most importantly, keep it thematic.

Same.
...and people still bitch and moan about the game is "too hard". Just change your fucking approach. There's no valid argument for that game being too hard when you can trivialize any fight by leveling up, switching builds, using summons, installing mods etc...
the bosses that people complain about can be beaten by level 1 players with no weapon without rolling.

The open nature of the game really tames the difficulty for people willing to just fuck off to another part of the map if a boss is giving them trouble.

When I want to do a lazy play through as an experienced player, I end up leveling mostly only vigor for the early game, and letting weapon levels increase my damage. Until you get a decent amount in damage stats and weapon level, the weapon leveling itself dwarfs the increases from stats. And with the vigor you’re never one shot so you can play more casually.

Replaying in preparations for the DLC and maaaaaan I forgot how much fire giant fucking sucks.

The camera is ass and he's so fucking tall you legitimately cannot even see where his melee attacks are coming from.

Yeah, he's my least favorite fight. It reminds me of a lot of boring raid bosses in WoW where you're just attacking a foot or an ass the entire time.

Works on my machine.

But yeah, there's a general consensus on that.

I am not going to buy the DLC, ER was a really mid Souls game and I am tired of the formula now. Bloodborne is a much better game.
