Is there a way for me to download Kindle book files from Amazon as JPG or PDF files? I know of a way to do so for another site, Book Walker, but I'm unsure if the method I know for that would work on Amazon or not.

at that point i would just go to Z-Lib and pirate it. since im assuming you bought it, and amazon is just being cucks about the format

I've decided I want to build a new computer. The last time I did so was for $800 in 2015. I've been using Windows 7 since 2008.

Someone tell me where I've fucked up:

So I finally got everything, put it together, and nothing. The fans spin up, the goddamn RGB LEDs on the motherboard lightup, the GPU starts up, but it will not send anything to my monitor. I'm going to start taking out the GPU and RAM and seeing if that changes anything, but in the likelihood I can't resolve my issue with that, is there anything else? Did I get bunk computer parts? I don't think I fucked up installing the CPU, and I really don't want to have to check because the cooling unit took forever for me to figure out.
Fuck.

you should check the HDMI/DP cables as well, or maybe check if your monitor is working.

Recently build a PC with a buddy, had similar issues. Popped the CMOS battery out for a minute or two, put it back, nothing. Swapping the RAM sticks fixed it. It wasn't even giving beep codes, but worked fine after reseating the RAM, essentially.

Monitor was fine, I was switching back and forth between my new and old computers.

Ultimately, taking everything apart and putting it back together fixed whatever the build issue was. I’m glad I didn’t get immediately bad parts, and now the process of setting everything up begins.

How long did you wait? AFAIK DDR5 takes an eternity to train first time round.

There really wasn’t a set time. By the end I was watching the ezled on the motherboard to see what steps it was stopping at. When it was getting to Boot without even posting I made the decision for a reassembly. After that, if it hadn’t worked, I was already looking into local computer repair to look at it.

There is something funny which happened recently.

I use a VPN (Mullvad), but since it leads to some issues with various websites, I added one browser (Edge) in the split tunnel configuration.

Basically whenever I needed to deal with "problematic" websites, I just use the browser in the split tunnel and it works.

However, I have recently encountered a certain website ( it's on the clearnet, but I do not wish to disclose it at the moment), which just does not load if my VPN is on and I am in the split tunnel browser. The moment I turn the VPN completely off, everything works.

I didn't really give much of an information, but does anyone know how can this happen? How can a website identify that I still have a VPN on, even though I am using a browser in split tunnel?

Is there specifically a thread of places that change their shit for pride month? so i can purposefully avoid them.

idk what a split tunnel is but the website you are visiting* basically detects if you are in a different country than the set default language/country and decides to yeet you off simple as that.

It's also possible they know what IPs are VPN endpoints and just blocks them explicitly by IP. That endpoint IP is who the VPN is allowing you to pretend to be, so they can be blocked by subnet or by Geo IP correlation to ignore known low reputation countries.

I wonder if the split tunnel browser is still using DNS requests from your operating system going out the VPN instead of the un-tunneled interface which puts you somewhere where the website doesn't think you should be or the DNS is blocking VPN requests.

So, basically the browser asks Windows "what is kiwifarms.net's IP address" and that request goes out the VPN. So that's what's hitting the block.
Once you have the IP address then your browser would go out the non-VPN link.

This is just speculation.

I use a keyboard that has a key next to the backspace key that simply hard shut-offs the computer. I am a blind retarded man and have accidently turned off my computer multiple times. There's no prompt, it turns off the same way it turns off if I physically held down the power button.

Is there a way to make it not do that without installing special software to remap the keybinds? I am wary of programs that alter my inputs/seems like a way to get a keylogger.
This is the exact keyboard I have. It is plug and play USB.
