@Procrastinhater's post but you're very much on point. Rackets was constantly talking during Rittenhouse about how he'd created this new way of looking at trials. And it was pretty fun, even the small ones like Theodore Edgecome were at worst good background noise. (I think Minnesota should bring Judge Borowski in for Rekieta 's trial).
At the time Depp was taking off, I thought it was odd that he kept insisting he was going to keep the night show around when it was clear he'd found an audience during the day. His excuse was that he wanted to reward the community that'd stayed with him when he was smaller. You know, the same audience of weebs, conservatives, and trad Christians he'd tell to get lost just a few months later. But it makes sense now seeing it was an excuse to spend less time around his family and drink more.
There's really no going back for that audience now, Emily Baker vacuumed up most of the trial watchers and Sean is on his way to becoming the new LawPope.
