There were more than a few cases in the past with Youtubers being outed as grooming their fans and some even caught bids for it, that one dude that got caught DMing teenage girls and telling them to twerk naked on video for him is still in prison. Hush money is also a very real thing and people like managers, agents and other personnel often know what their clients are up to and depending on how profitable you are, they will cover for you. See Saville, see R.Kelly, EVERYONE knew, but there are many cases of much less famous people, too.

Discord is an easy target, and for good reason, but I think it is the product of a much, much larger problem.
The more I think about this, the more I'm convinced that "Irony" was created by the antichrist to placate people who are none the wiser. Maybe I'm overreacting about this, but every time I hear people being "ironic" or try to make a joke that (I think?) is ironic, I just don't believe them.
Web 1.0 had the same issues with forums, chat rooms and private messaging. Discord made it easier and cheaper to host images and video but it's not the only issue. Social media makes it easier to find kids to target, online gaming being easy to get into gives more access too. Technology parents can't monitor or don't want to.
With the rise of "Web 3.0" (AI, short-form content, blockchain and peer to peer technology) I'm afraid this is only the beginning.
