(Also grandparents were alive, so there likely wasn’t a trust fund yet.)

Nobody has five kids (and multiple miscarriages) just because they want to lay on the trust fund couch and watch Netflix/get banged by niggers.

Nick by all accounts didn’t want five kids either, and he sure as heck didn’t spend as much time as possible with them.
Very likely knew the trust fund was going to happen, or at least had a pretty good idea he would get a good inheritance, so he went ahead and started having kids to be in their good graces. Especially if they were Catholic. Same with the law degree that he barely ever used.

Every time this fluff of a human says he plans to do something my brain on it's own goes "feed your kids"

you don't get extra points by filing early. it was on time and that's all that matters. and it's possible to sperg out while not being under the influence. he is, after all, an egomaniac who thinks very highly of himself and cannot resist the urge to piss into the wind of public opinion no matter how futile.

is he still having coked-out benders and getting blasted every night? to me, no evidence either way at this point. 50-50.
You need to lurk more or you would see parallels with Ty Beard.

Filing at the absolute last minute with document errors is not a wise course of action. Or are you telling me that procrastinating is a good strategy?

I was one who would constantly submit college papers at the last minute, Nick is playing a foolish game of brinkmanship with himself with court documents.

If Robert Barnes is not being paid, & is doing this level of nose-guarding for free, I am, once again, saying that Nick has some type of kompromat on this bloke.

At this point, I'm convinced that Barnes is acting for Rekieta. Maybe not as the attorney of record at this stage, but definitely in some kind of advisory capacity.

Remember when Null was in need of legal advice and turned to Rekieta to ask him where he should go? Who does Rekieta recommend, right of the bat? That's right, Barnes. So when Plod shows up at Nick's front door, warrant in hand, demanding to be allowed in to search for the coke, who is Rekieta going to call? If it was you or I, we'd call a local criminal defence attorney who knows the game locally, knows the prosecutors, knows the judges, knows the cops. Such a guy will definitely know the ropes and can smooth your way through the system, getting you out on bail ASAP on the best possible terms.

That's not Rekieta though. Just as he hired Randazza for his stupid little defamation suit which he should have settled immediately, so he's going to pick up the phone and call up his chum, big time Constitutional Lawyer Robert Barnes. That'll definitely have those Spicer yokels quaking in their boots. Those cops and that small town DA will be shitting their pants.

Just like David Schneider and Randazza. Oh, wait...

I bet you that wasn’t the only time Nick was around that she didn’t… Finish!

BADUUM TISCH!
Considering he was lurking around the corners like Drex trying to snap creepshots of 16 year olds at the gym, looking for tips on how to get Our Wife off, I'd say its pretty likely Balldo doesn't know how to get Our Wife to... finish.

you don't get extra points by filing early. it was on time and that's all that matters.

You do get extra points for filing early. The extra points allow you to ensure that you don't make a fatal mistake with something simple and routine. Maybe ask Ty Beard about that.

Filing things minutes before a deadline is always dumb.

i don't see any evidence that he's drinking, and, tbh, aside from running his mouth on twitter, i don't see any evidence of poor decisionmaking since his release. i get that it's fun to assume the worst based on limited evidence but we really have no idea whats going on at that house or between his ears
the few screenshots we have of longer posts hes made on locals show a few spelling and grammatical errors, but otherwise yes, youre right. We dont *know* hes been drinking because we're not standing over his shoulder watching him. We can make the inference that he is, because hes an addict that is so far unrepentant about his actions. Considering hes a lawyer he should know that anything he puts out on social media CAN and WILL be used against him in a court of law, especially if he makes a statement about the facts of a case (he made several about the firearms in his house). He must know this considering the police basically admitted they were watching his online activity. If he were just radio silent I would have more hope hes cleaning up his act, but rather than being repentant hes actively making an ass of himself on the online. He also made a statement that he didnt dump all his booze and gave it to "a good home". Yeah, right. An alcy dumping booze is no indicator he'll get clean, but giving it away? Come on now. From what I remember, addicts are notorious in their generosity, especially when youve spent a year and change in a bottle.

Running his mouth on a group chat about his criminal case? His spergery at coomalot chat?
I don't know man, talking about those thing may seem innocuous at the present time, but we don't know the ramifications that it could have. For the uncertainty alone is better to just keep quiet about his own criminal case. He can't because he think he's smarter than this.
i should qualify. sure, it's poor decisionmaking, but i don't think it's so poor that it needs to be explained by inebriation. that was my main point. withdrawal-induced paranoia, an inescapable need to control the narrative, perpetually thin skin, ODD, textbook narcissism---all that explains the behavior just fine. i also highly doubt that anything he says at this point will be a serious problem in court. it's not gonna sink his case. having a fucking ounce of coke in his house will do that.

I would say, from a medical perspective, that it isn't likely safe for him to stop drinking, without being under medical supervision.

He is clearly an alcoholic, and that means his body is literally depending on the alcohol being present at this point. If he tried to stop cold-turkey at this point, it would literally kill him.

If he wants to stop drinking, he need to do it inpatient, with proper medical supervision, or there is a good chance he wouldn't make it through drying out.

The amount he drinks he has to at the very minimum be drinking at "maintenance levels" or he would literally be in hospital.
The fact he hasn't ended up in the ER or rehab means he's still drinking,
yeah i just disagree. there are actually two possibilities. the other is that his body is not so insanely chemically dependant on booze as much as people here think it is. the fact that he had no drugs on him and wasn't given a DUI during the arrest day is pretty good evidence that he can live without maintenance level drinking and is probably not in DT territory. if he needed a medical detox in the county jail, he probably would have gotten one. i really don't think that he would be on death's door after being without booze for a few days. again, not claiming that he is sober, but people should take the possibility more seriously. we really don't have enough evidence to say that it's medically necessary that he's drinking right now.

The motion is a smart decision, if the last minute (and unproofread nature) is not.

I don’t know about that. Given their prior history, the former judge might have gone out of her way to avoid imposing a sentence that could be seen as harsh.

The new judge has no reason to swing that way.

Could be a myth, but male judges also tend to be more harsh.

Like so often with the balldo man, I think he may have just cucked himself.

It still blows my mind that he said this on a live stream to be immortalized on the Internet for all of time. It's a pretty vile thing to even think in the way that he meant it, never mind to ever actually say out loud. Broadcasting it out to the Internet is just wild. No wonder their marriage sucks.
He's a NEET coomer. Look at the guy, he's a fucking coming gooner. That was his wedding and he looks like he crawled out of a basement into....another basement.

oh shit I didn’t think nick had it in him but he’s gonna go with the “she has to recuse herself because I talked shit about her pussy liquor” route. Godspeed nick hope you had a nice line or two when you came up with this
Whether or not it's her fault, the fact that there's a chance she could make biased decisions based on her personal feelings makes sense to me. Why isn't Balldo right in this case?

Thats fair. I'm just going off my own observations, you're going off yours. Only thing we can do at the minute is watch and wait.

This is why he needs to stream.
CorrecT the Record Nick, I'm sure everyone is looking forward to hearing how this is all one big misunderstanding.

The problem is that you could theoretically make those sorts of comments about every judge and then say there are no judges that won’t be biased against you.
