How much is the loss/profit made?
No idea. I'd have to know how much Paul put into it to make it whatever it is now, or if he somehow sold it to two idiots in the utterly trashed state he posted pictures of it in.

Paul only owned it for 4 years and I doubt he put much down. After paying off the past due tranch bills in his name, whatever cash he had to spend to clear out the property, and all the assorted fees that go into a real estate transaction, he probably came out a few thousand dollars ahead.

How is this off-grid property in the middle of fuckoff nowhere with a trashed "house" on it and completely wrecked ecology remotely worth that? It will take decades of xeroscaping just to get it back to its near desert state that it started at.
I bet that the buyers never saw it outside of some carefully framed photos or even old photos.

If so, they'd have a good case for fraud.
True but in Paul's defense you'd have to be pretty damn stupid to buy a property sight unseen. I personally think @Human Waiter has the right idea and it was some rich chink buying property using a proxy to move their cash somewhere Xi can't get it.

Some Chinaman? I wonder if this is going to be turned into a rental or if it's an offshore money storage like many Chinese-owned properties.

Not sure how prevalent it is in buttfuck nowhere like Westcliffe, but in a lot of places in the country, especially places Californians have been moving to, it's very common for people to buy houses these days without even setting foot in it. One of my friends lost out on a house a few years ago because he wanted a walkthrough first and someone else came in, waived the walkthrough, and bought it out from under him. That's just the real estate market since 2020.

They still do that? Back in 2006-ish, I had a realtor license and worked part time at a real estate agency during college and Californians buying shit without physically stepping foot in them was all I dealt with. Good to know they’re still as fucking stupid

I wish some fucking Californian buys this hellscape without looking at it first

wasn't it his parents that bought it?

You got me hopeful that Alyssa and her robot baby bird batshittery had updated, but no. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
Wonder what the fucks going on with kindness. She defo got to the point of munching herself into actual illness, and because of her specific alley of attack, she went for the kind of shit that can permo spaz you. I know the girl who picked her legs to pieces is dramatic, but if you fuck your cardio /neuro systems with stupid amounts of drugs, that can disable you very much more firmly than merely being a hop along.
If Paul's ma really did die, he'll have fucked her off and be living in the house on the last of the coin and she will be in some workhouse/ back with whatever "abusive" fam she fled, in a genuinely fucked up state.

I highly doubt the pothead who bought it cares about any of that and just wants a place to set up his shitty plastic grow tent and go bankrupt when he can't make profit on his weed farm.

That's not very fair, there's clearly a market for weed in the area. I have my suspicions that Jarrod's public attempts at mycoculture were probably a front for an attempt at a grow room (and probably magic mushroom cultivation) given the sheer quantity of weed they seemed to have, it's just they got sidetracked by Penny's various vanity projects and animal hoarding and smoked too much of their own supply (and were too lazy to maintain it).

A hardworking drug dealer might make a go of it, although they'd be better off picking a property connected to the grid and water main instead of relying on the Tranch's janky electrical supply and limited well.
