Well I've heard of the spiral of finnster and it doesn't surprise me. It did make me think though, If estrogen was considered a controlled substance like testosterone would these people be so open about it? I know for a fact that these kids/adults he's getting into this are just porn addicted coomers and if they legit stopped porn and anime this idea that they're a woman would go away.It's misuse clearly and I'm surprised that it hasn't become a controlled substance yet. And the ones that do get seized in mail, why aren't they looking into where they're sending it from.

Really? How times change! A year or two ago I read a tweet by him expressing shock at how many autogynophiles there were on Twitter and how easily they are found. Didn't appear to hold positive opinions of the phenomenon last I checked. I can't remember if someone had sent him Kevin Gibes' tweets or not. Here's his account, if anyone is curious what he thinks, and a recent tweet from him.

Making estrogen a controlled substance would mean acknowledging that there are risks, which runs counter to the narrative they're spinning to turn children into lifelong consumers of pharmaceuticals.

I don't know for sure. The stuff I'm referring to was older, I believe in his original studies where he coined the terms AGP and HSTS. I think he has somewhat changed his mind now or is at the very least is a step behind the curve of "progress". He understands why many men transition, because of autogynephilia, and seems to be okay with that as a reason for transition. He just, to the annoyance of trannies everywhere, insists on still telling the truth about the reason, rather than making up some stuff that sounds more sympathetic and less perverse to the average person. My completely novice analysis of him is that he seems to be an older guy who was okay with a couple of trans individuals here and there and he would work with them as a therapist through their transitions, even acting as a reference for other doctors on when to allow a patient to have hormones and sex reassignment surgery, but now it has become so prevalent and has gone so far he may be becoming uncomfortable with it. I think he may feel some regret for his contributions to that by working in that field as an enabler previously, and is trying to make up for it a bit by speaking out.

From what I've seen he (and other sexologists who have researched AGP) hold a pro-transitition stance, in that they tend to believe AGPs should transition if they are well informed adults who are in such distress they feel they need to. Much different than the AGPs of today who get little to no informed consent/ barely any psych evals.

That said I think if any researcher in this field ever did say they think AGPs shouldn't transition their research would get completely thrown out and them black listed due to the huge majority AGPs hold in the trans community and the power that comes with that. We've all seen what simply acknowledging AGP as a concept at all can do to researchers and even if youre the most pro AGP researcher alive even uttering the term will get you vilified by the community.

True. You can still "not pass" as FtM. But for the most part, it's a hell of a lot easier. Wear clothes to hide your tits or get em removed and you're going to be able to pass as some kind of male, even if it is gay sub or a soyboy type.

For MtF, you gotta make sure you wax your body, and dress in ways that hide some of the more distinctive male features. And even then, you can't really hide the wide shoulders and facial build.

The least passable FtM looks like a gay guy. The least passable MtF looks like a goblin.
