Today 95 fils equals 75 cents (again, I don't think she specified USD or CAD).
She's never been clever but her brain seems to be turning to sludge.
I guess it's a step up from when she thought everything was 1:1. Imagine not only moving to a new country and not knowing your dollar conversions, but not even knowing they're a thing.
It actually makes my stomach turn a little when I think of the whole situation. She wanted three things: To escape her taxes, to marry a man and to do youtube with him. So she looks up places that have no income tax and rents a husband from there thinking once her ass is filling two plane seats she'll have it all.
I rewatched some of her earlier videos in Kuwait and she crows more about how she won't have to pay taxes than she does about getting married.
The moment that really hit me was when she was saying Kuwait has no income tax and they have free healthcare and questions why Canada doesn't do the same.
The question really felt like it knocked the wind out of me; this is no act, she's really this stupid and has no idea how any of this works. She doesn't understand that being IN a country isn't the same as being a resident and that only residents get healthcare and tax breaks. I don't doubt she did no research, but it makes me wonder if Salah outright lied to her about residency and marriage, if she just never asked the details (and they both assumed this intensely retarded plan would work) or if she was told and just tuned it all out while in a manic high because she was about to get everything she wanted.
Sorry I know this is treading old ground it's just she's been there for over a year and still knows less about the country than a 10 year old skimming a wikipedia page.
Even the kid's version of the boardgame "Catan" teaches that different lands have different resources (and amounts of said resource) that hold very different value. I'd love to hear Chantal's explanation for where the money for healthcare comes from in Kuwait. I bet it involves genies and magic carpets.
She didn't look up the currency, she didn't look up how to become a resident, hell I doubt she even looked up the temperature.
She hates everything about that shithole and she stays because somehow that shows us. I try to imagine myself in that position and I just can't. Anyone else would be screaming and on the first plane home.
everything she's saying about FFG is truer for her
She has no perspective outside of herself so the only insults she can ever come up with are ones that either hurt her the most or have been used against her (inbred, desperate, fat, boring, insecure, unclean etc).
It makes it all the more hilarious when she cries about someone "house shaming" her fart box after years of calling FFGs place "Motel 6".
I wish I could remember which video it was but in one she was trying to snap back at a reactor who called her fat and said something along the lines of "I bet they all weight 900lbs." which she realizes can't be possible and tries to course correct with "I bet combined they weigh 900lbs"
It's hilarious to find the little moments every once in a while where she almost seems to remember that not everyone literally is her and that her insults only make sense when she's in front of a mirror.
She is REALLY clinging to "pretty" as her last port in the storm though, isn't she? Guess age, viewer count and income are all pretty much off the table so what else does she really have? She can't even shout "Where's your man??" now without a chorus of voices ringing back that they may not know, but they do know he's not getting ham farts behind the Seven 11 whilst raping the gilded pages of The Good Book.
Did I hear FFG right when she described herself as a “normal fat”. Looking at her headshot, there is no way FFG is not super morbidly obese as well.
I wish FFG would lose the weight. Can you imagine the rage we'd get?
Come on FFG, you're willing to put so much effort into all this other Chantal related bullshit, just hide off camera for a few months, stop eating pizza rolls or whatever and then come back to a scream from Kuwait so intense we can feel its vibrations here in Canada.
edit for spelling
