Could someone clarify a couple things for me?
So Luna said the acid attack was 5/22/2022 but the date on the security footage says 2022131548. I'm guessing that means 2022 January 31 at 548 pm. Then gatis made that german video to Ilyas in February mentioning "what he did". If the acid attack was actually in May then what did that video to Ilyas in february mean?
Sounds extremely unlikely for a security camera to have a time format like you suggest, the date you mention here would almost invariably be 202201311748 instead if every part were to be included. It also makes zero sense when you consider what she appears to be wearing and the objects and surroundings outside. May looks way more likely judging by what you actually see in the clip.
More likely if it were a timestamp would be that the day and month preceded the year and is hidden/removed, and that the "131548" part is the time of day, but that's also probably incorrect for two reasons, one being that it's rare to have camera formats like that due how it messes up alphanumerical sorting by date, and the other being that it appears to be fairly dark outside, with one or more of the attackers appearing to have headlights on and Luna turning on a light herself as she goes outside, meaning that 13:15:48 would be an unlikely time.
Another reason why both formats would be unlikely is that the minute and/or second part would change during the video, which it does not. In fact, it doesn't really appear to be a timestamp for the time we're seeing at all, it seems like it belongs to the entire video itself.
I believe the number signifies one of two things:
- The day and month is not part of it, and it does represent a timestamp down to the second, but doesn't represent the actual time we see in the video; possibly it might represent when the chunk of video that the clip we see was taken from started recording, which could have been earlier in the day.
- It's not a timestamp at all, but instead a serial number to identify the camera itself, or something like that.
