He got buttmad and staged this gay discord lynching against me, which was the same he did when we took over from zaiger and they made me pisscord admin so it was a natural event to them. So megamanly got very scared I was gonna repost his nudes. Speaking of other paranoids, über disappeared too out of fear of getting name dropped. Because yeah he told his irl name to randos, including me with the same "you look trustworthy here's my irl facebook lets be buddies" (I shit you not). I was too young back then and didn't understand why someone would do that.

Anyway. The stragglers are pathetic. The admins are pathetic. All are wannabe trolls who cant handle mean words and have no self respect. I dunno why edf 2.0 ended up being part of my childhood. It was an amusing toy while the illusion lasted. I like strong people, these are just phonies. + they stuck with ed because they're social rejects.

The whole point of ED was to rip on popular figures as lolcows purely because it was funny. It's supposed to be 90% brutal truth about someone with 10% gut busting hilarity sprinkled throughout to keep it from being boring.

I don't understand. I've re-read the last few pages of this thread and still don't get it. Why is ED down and what's the "real" new domain again, if such is even up? Can someone give me a QRD?
Also for some reason its .online incarnation didn't allow anonymous editing and to register, you had to make an EDF account first. I'd constantly get an internal error or some shit while trying to do so, so I gave up. A shame, I really wanted to contribute to a couple of my favourite articles.

I hope it goes back up. It was a great piece of interwebz history, a goldmine of information and most improtantly a hilarious read, without fail.

That has truth to it too. I won't divulge how much but über blew a lot of his own money on ED's servers. And as meepsheep said a few pages back there's CP on ED. Zaiger gave privs to randos he liked and those who could help him run the site. Onideus was one of these. The idiot kept onideus around to deal with legal disputes while embezzling the donation money to fuel his drug addiction. Onideus inserted his sick borderline CP fetish material to a lot of articles. I recall über writing a python script to detect these images and us manually removing them.

I don't remember them. Milwin was a cool guy who disappeared. Is he the egyptian you mean? He was middle-eastern but I don't know more. He'd troll schnookums.

My involvement with the site was minor and I was oblivious to the true nature of that "community" all along. I was originally underage (and barely spoke English) and pitched an article idea about a true PoS who manipulated teens and published IPs to send harassment. Über liked it and wrote the article. I sporadically stuck around EDF. Über randomly doxed himself to me which I misunderstood as him wanting to be friends. Schnookums tried to manipulate me into giving out über's dox. I later learned schnookums was a forum admin too for tech stuff and über and schn made up along the way after attacking and threatening each other. It made no sense. (I forgave schn too because of über.) Über threatened me at one point regarding his dox too. Zaig also gave admin to likeicare who's a diagnosed psychopath and would randomly power abuse for no reason. They bonded over drugs or something.

I returned when they were ousting zaiger. Sibin locked him out for the donation money thing. Onideus reappeared to threaten. I recall it was a big deal to hide who the real owner is at that point. Sibin gave me admin because I was über's friend. I started focusing on the wiki too from that point onward and eventually put it together that it's just a playground for losers making ad hominem articles instead of going after the true pieces of shit with facts. Sibin's server failed and the backups too and it was blamed on me. Then came stolen valor who got really triggered by onideus threatening him (private email he Cc'd to girloninternet and me) and went to combat rationalwiki (https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Talk:Encyclopædia_Dramatica/Archive1#Defamation). One day he disappeared and it was pulled up he was in jail.

The last straw for me was when the user ilovemenandwomen's mother OD'd and they were trying to put it in a year book as a funny EDF thing. I voiced my disapproval about this degeneracy to über who shortly after got extremely paranoid I was going to dox him. (I just addressed him as his first name in private and he went full hysterical.) For the record I don't know what he was involved with and don't care, won't speculate. .wil's pisscord gang and the EDF guys were going all full backstab mode as conrad's host died and I was done with them shortly after.



I think I should note that ED has a culture of sexual exploitation. Zaiger's actions are out there. There's also the case of Baka/Boudica. She used to hang around the schnookums/vx/etc wiki circle. I don't know if she was trying to suck up or was manipulated but she sent nudes to the wiki admin vx (or vx salesman). She's a manipulative backstabber in her own right though. I used to have a crush on her. She'd start shit about me like the hysterical I'm "ruining" her ED by implementing the changes I had über's approval for and rallied the forum against me for a temp ban (to calm her down) but also would come to me for emotional validation when her cats died and other sucking up. When I became admin I had randos approach me too. Suddenly me privately messaging people as I used to was treated as me "creeping in DMs" as über put it and I was too inexperienced to recognize this. .wil's mod megamanly was friendly with me and started sending me nudes in-between normal stuff. (I was open about my fat fetish and I'd occassionally reciprocate with belly pics. I also made it common knowledge that I'm not into cocks/breasts/vag. I showed my penis on one of these and it got reposted as revenge porn. Megamanly got very scared that I was gonna repost his dozen nudes to the fact that he did not partake in their organized pisscord lynching of me.)



There might be inaccuracies here and there. It was a long time ago and I was just an oblivious useful idiot for the most part. I had a long think about it and realized they're all criminals and trash I'm better off disavowing. It doesn't come as a surprise that they're repeating themselves.

Why is ED down

ED is down because Jacob "Kaizen" Gruentzel intentionally forgot to pay the bills to keep the servers spinning and let the place go down, presumably for moralfag reasons.

Didn't want to deal with eleventy trillion spambots posting BBC and virus-laden links to CAPTCHA bypass services, so he locked up registration and delegated responsibility to those who had the permissions to create accounts on behalf of others. Essentially, you had to make an EDF account, and message a janny to create an account for you. This was/is a stupid idea that only served to funnel users into EDF, let the wiki fall into disrepair, and ultimately stifle the growth of both websites.

Having said that, .top has no such restrictions. You are welcome to create an account at your leisure.
