Wait so Nixon could have been a legit serial killer but if they had discovered a dozen prostitutes buried in his backyard after the pardon he would have gotten away with it?
How the fuck is that legal
By the President of the United States of America a Proclamation
Richard Nixon became the thirty-seventh President of the United States on January 20, 1969 and was reelected in 1972 for a second term by the electors of forty-nine of the fifty states. His term in office continued until his resignation on August 9, 1974.
Pursuant to resolutions of the House of Representatives, its Committee on the Judiciary conducted an inquiry and investigation on the impeachment of the President extending over more than eight months. The hearings of the Committee and its deliberations, which received wide national publicity over television, radio, and in printed media, resulted in votes adverse to Richard Nixon on recommended Articles of Impeachment.
As a result of certain acts or omissions occurring before his resignation from the Office of President, Richard Nixon has become liable to possible indictment and trial for offenses against the United States. Whether or not he shall be so prosecuted depends on findings of the appropriate grand jury and on the discretion of the authorized prosecutor. Should an indictment ensue, the accused shall then be entitled to a fair trial by an impartial jury, as guaranteed to every individual by the Constitution.
It is believed that a trial of Richard Nixon, if it became necessary, could not fairly begin until a year or more has elapsed. In the meantime, the tranquility to which this nation has been restored by the events of recent weeks could be irreparably lost by the prospects of bringing to trial a former President of the United States. The prospects of such trial will cause prolonged and divisive debate over the propriety of exposing to further punishment and degradation a man who has already paid the unprecedented penalty of relinquishing the highest elective office of the United States.
Now, THEREFORE, I, GERALD R. FORD, President of the United States, pursuant to the pardon power conferred upon me by Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution, have granted and by these presents do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto Richard Nixon for all offenses against the United States which he, Richard Nixon, has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 20, 1969 through August 9, 1974.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this eighth day of September, in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and seventy-four, and of the Independence of the United States of America the one hundred and ninety-ninth.
GERALD R. FORD
Hillary's forecasted chances have gone from figures of 9 to 1 down now to 2 to 1.
Only she could do this well.
Report: White nationalists to pass out alcohol, marijuana on Election Day
Heck, maybe these Nazi guys aren't so bad after all.
So I was browsing through my collection of personal lolcows and saw this article posted:
http://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2016/11/3/13478042/third-party-clinton-vote-trading
"As a Clinton supporter in deeply blue state, the Silicon Valley-based entrepreneur knew his vote wouldn’t do much to affect the outcome. He also knew that elsewhere in the country — particularly in the crucially important swing states — large numbers of third-party votes were tightening the race. Kumar realized that the best way he could help was by getting these third-party swing state residents to vote for Clinton, while still being able to show support for their original candidates.
His solution: “Let them trade votes.”
Kumar launched #NeverTrump — a “marketplace” app where third-partiers in swing states can swap candidates with Clinton supporters in safe states.
This agreement, called vote trading or pairing, is a small but swiftly growing movement playing out across the United States. And at the last minute, it’s shifting hundreds — if not thousands — of third-party votes to Clinton."
So how will this backfire in some really hilarious way?
I assume McMullin will get 20% of California because of this
If this ends with the river suckout that some people are sure is coming, Bernie Bros are going to raze the towns and villages of these fucking foul Hillary whores and rape and murder everyone in them.
He fucked up. He wrote a column explaining that he fell into the trap of acting like a pundit. Personally, I think over time he probably got worn down by this type of conversation:Why would Nate put that out a subjective analysis with no stats to back it up, when he's touted as the polls and numbers guy?
Yeah, that bunch will probably align with those North Korean Muslims hiding under our beds that we've heard so much about.
Hyperbole aside, I'll just laugh if Hillary manages to fumble the ball so badly that Trump wins. The Clinton supporters will undoubtedly go spastic and that would certainly make for some entertainment.
Well, the Romney campaign. Just look at the ORCA fiasco. They were sure they were going to win on election night.who really didn't see Obama beating McCain and Romney?
I want to see them cry about the death of feminism so badly. I am actually scaring myself a little. It would just be so satisfying to see the house of cards collapse. The Trump side always knew it was fighting an uphill battle, so their defeat wouldn't amuse me. I don't think it would even end in a lot of salt. Just broken wills. Downtrodden acceptance. Then, another Trump one day.
But if Hillary lost? Oh, the tears...
As far as a Trump loss leading to salt Null himself has said he will move the servers to China and leave the country, and he's been one of the less hysterical.
I wonder if Trump's constant talk of a rigged election will backfire on him and the rest of the GOP. If he wins it will be quickly forgotten, but if he loses this may dishearten GOP voters and encourage them to stay home and not vote in the next election. Why should they if the vote is rigged after all? And as the traditional Republican voter base shrinks and efforts to branch out have had little success this could really hurt them.
If the Republicans can't win against Clinton, their voters may as well just stay home because its a lost cause.
The Republicans only have themselves to blame. They've known for decades that America was becoming less white and they had to start branching out. The Bushes made the attempt, with some success, but Trump has pretty much undone most of it. All they have is the traditionally conservative white vote, and that by itself just isn't going to cut it much longer.
What could they have branched out to? The only conservative peoples are whites and asians, and there are not enough yellow people in the US to help them out.
Dindus, kebab and tacos will always be liberal. Their voterbase is being reduced and there is nobody else who wants their product. You can't sell your shit if nobody wants to buy it.
