Western Animation - Discuss American, Canadian, and European cartoons here (or just bitch about wokeshit, I guess)

Maxwell may be buddies with vivziepop (or he was back when the hazbin pilot was made and got a voice cameo in it)

But he's one like McCracken or Gennady who I'd say is still one of the good ones. Shame the last major thing be attached his name to was an adaptation of bunnicula for boomerang. Yeah not even cn but boomerang during their botched "redesign."

Admitably it was "better" than an adaptation of a then near 50 year old kids book that only has the name and some elements of said book. Had any right to be, but it was still only Slightly above those soulless cash grabs he mentions. If only because despite being tasked to headline an adaptation show, Maxwell had enough creative freedom to make it his own.

Edit: this is how you do a meta joke btw.

You can be a "big name" in the modern animation industry and that won't be enough at times to even get your foot in the door now with original show ideas. Danny Annotucci had his Lupo the Butcher show announced, and then rejected by Netflix for being “too violent” and "too expensive". Craig Mccracken was only involved in the Powerpuff Girls revival after Netflix turned down over 10 original projects he pitched. Guys like Atoms, despite signaling their interest in original projects, can only get work via projects like the Patrick Star Show.

Even Genndy Tartakovsky, a creator who had built up a lot of clout, or so you'd think, had to grind in the Sony 3d/Adam Sandler mines for years and barely got Primal made. It took Tartakovsky decades at working at it to finally get his passion project Unicorn Warriors accepted, only to be shafted on Adult Swim at the last minute so it would get less viewership.

SEGA has announced the sequel you have all been waiting for:

Will this movie unite the right like the first one did:
I may be one of 5 people who liked first.
I get it's generic but it's like guilty pleasure.

Anyways does anyone remember this show? I used to watch shit ton of it

Huh, didn't know there was going to be a third Angry Birds movie,...but why would Sony make this when they have Spiderverse??? Heck, they could at least come up with something original. Also isn't Angry Birds a Rovio property and not SEGA? Also, the first movie is not right-wing propaganda, what are you talking about??

Anywho, speaking of things coming back...Wallace and Gromit are coming back too!!!

Edit: Just notice the Pharrell Willaims LEGO biopic...I thought that was joke, but nope it is real. That has to be the most autistic thing to ever exist. Are you sure it was directed by Chris-chan?

And even he couldn't keep it from being absolute dogshit.

Speaking of dogshit modern SpongeBob
SpongeBob will be getting another spin-off film starring Plankton as part of a Netflix deal coming in 2025.
