I am old enough now that I genuinely hate these, because it's misappropriating my culture.

Nobody was trans and non-binary in the early 2000s, and if they were, they certainly weren't blasting it all over everything online, making it their entire fucking identity. The culture was different. And a lot more ruthless and unkind. People still said 'faggot' and 'retarded' openly on television, and nobody ever got upset. Fuck, you could even say 'tranny' and it wasn't even considered a slur, because while people knew trannies existed, they were such a minority as to be completely inconsequential. There was no 'trans community' - they'd generally just be these weirdo fringe perverts you'd see on the likes of Maury or Jerry Springer and weren't something that was in any way aspirational to kids.

And all the non-binaries would still just be fat cisgender girls on deviantArt writing Drarry slash fiction.

These individuals are clearly mentally disturbed, so ultimately my gripe is the doctors/surgeons that approve of giving testosterone to underages females, chop their tits and mutilate their bodies through live human experimentation.

It's them, the Suporns, the Gallaghers, the Bowers and so forth that should be hanging from lampposts with placards reading
"I betrayed humanity"

The last one is interesting, I'm genuinely not sure what troons think estrogen does. Testosterone can have a dramatic effect on a persons appearance, but the average "2 years on E" transition timeline photo is just the exact same face but with longer hair now. There was a bunch more but I can't be bothered screenshotting it all.

There are two groups of people who misappropriate 2000's culture; Trans people and zoomers who got their information of said culture off of TikTok and music compilations.

Even in the 2010s, for goodness sake, when the LGBT really began taking popularity someone could yell out a slur and not get (as) reprimanded for it. Nowadays, only reclaimers can say a slur that they keep yelling about as being harmful. Which makes no sense.

It's okay for an LGBT person to say a slur but a regular old straight guy doing it will send the person into suicidal ideation and the guy into an interrogation room.

Then again, it depends since the community eats each other up over everything like morphine-injected bulldogs. To be reclaimed or not to be reclaimed? That is the question.

I like that they pretend that the Internet was invented circa 2010, which they obviously regard as A Very Long Time Ago, as though everything wasn't already on the corporatized downhill slide by then.

(Ignore me, I'm old and disillusioned and it's probably time for my pills.)

I want them to explain, with specific examples, what about their lives has changed for the better since they started cross-sex hormones. They post these "transformation" photos everywhere online, anyone with eyes can see there's very little substantive physical change in their appearance, yet they continue to tell each other that transition is a magical panacea, just look at all of these examples! Wow! Life-saving treatment!

Meanwhile, these exact same online spaces are brimming with trans people detailing their various and severe affective symptoms, describing their struggles with interpersonal interactions, lamenting their inability to "pass", disclosing the horrific complications of their treatment, and claiming to be in imminent danger of genocide. Many trans people who actively post on the Internet come across as sort of adrift, without real-life relationships, careers, ambitions, or interests not related to gender. Measurable improvement in life circumstances consequent to transition seems particularly unlikely to manifest in this group. However, I'd wager that the few trans people who are apparently successful or integrated into society at large were higher functioning prior to, not as a result of, their transition.

I truly do not understand what the benefit of all of these interventions is supposed to be. A growing body of evidence indicates that transitioning doesn't actually improve quality of life, much less fix the underlying problem for most individuals, and from what I have observed online, the only argument they have to the contrary amounts to sticking their fingers in their ears and screaming, "NUH-UH!" at anyone, no matter how gracious or circumspect or qualified, who suggests that maybe cutting your dick off or whatever shouldn't be a first-line treatment for autism. Many of them insist that they don't have a neuropsychiatric disorder in the same breath that they demand medical intervention and social accomodations for their special genderfeelings.

It's as though they can't (or won't) see the answer that's right there in front of them.

In short, she’s FTM -> NB (off T) -> NB? (Back on T). Since getting back on T her posts became more aggressive and now she is absolutely losing it. Oh and she converted to Islam. :story: She now goes by Azlan, rather than Birdy.

For the second time in a year she’s moved out of her apartment due to it being “unsafe”; the first time being because she was doxed. Now she’s losing her mind to the point where she wants to go to the hospital and get her brain scanned. I’ll remind you, this all comes maybe 2-3 months after starting again on T.

It’s ironic because society also cherishes actual good men, who exist as good not for praise but on principle. A good man can go anywhere and command respect just in how he carries himself.
