I'm so butthurt/MATI/whatever the fuck you want to call it, all because of this stupid fucking game.

I own this game physically. Not the Orange Box. The actual standalone copy of Team Fortress 2. Despite having a shitty laptop I found ways to enjoy my games. You couldn't believe my rage when TF2 became free to play. It's at the point where I'm seriously considering selling off my entire inventory, despite all the time and memories cherished, because what is the point anymore if Valve and the industry are too retarded to just make something functional and enjoyable? I'm pissed off about the bots/bot hosters, I'm honestly more pissed off at the rampant cheating. I'm pissed off that the "DEI" mindset has been adopted into the community and nobody wants to question it or even be against it. Getting something stupid like the "bot detector" program instills the mindset that you should be okay with giving up your digital privacy all for the sake of "the fight" against people like this. There are options to label people as "offensive" or "racist" next to the "cheater" label.

I'm SO fucking tired of this shit. I just want to play one of my favorite games. Everything else "sacred" to my childhood media has already been tarnished and fucked with enough. I just want this garbage to be done and over with. It's crazy how the cosmetic servers going down that one time a few months back, if you got into a casual match during that time (and also managed to kick bots well enough), the game actually felt fresh and exciting again. It was just joyous.

Honestly, I kinda stopped playing TF2 mainly because of the rampant cheating, but that can be remedied by joining a community server or playing in an offline match... for me at least. Although the DEI shit is just reddit tards picking up the game. I think there are a small contingent of TF2 players that are tired of the vast majority of the TF2 crowd being woke panzies. I want to be able to call someone a niggerfaggot for killing me. I don't like this overtly soft hugbox that the TF2 community is. Because that's what it is, it's soft. But like you said, nobody wants to go against it and everyone wants to sell their soul to Big Poppa Valve to rid the game of bots. But Valve seemingly can't do much, it's a symptom of a massive problem in multiplayer gaming.

The most fun I ever had with this game was MvM and dicking around in community servers, mainly mario_kart and jail servers. Jail was especially fun to grief since the second the cell doors opened I would just make a charging beeline into the faggot warden and blow him up with a crit ullapool caber and any retard unfortunate enough to get caught in my blast radius. The mario_kart servers also introduced me to my favorite micspam material like Avenue Q and niggertales, and sometimes they would rotate into a wacky_races map, and that was always super fun. I don't think wasting a bunch of printer ink and mailing a list of John Does to Valve is going to fix shit, but even if it somehow did it wouldn't bring back the TF2 I enjoyed playing as a kid.

It's not going to change the fact that MvM has been co-opted by insufferable metafaggots, and it's not going to suddenly repopulate the community servers I used to enjoy. I'm never going to listen to a warden scream at me to stop while I blow his head off at mach speed for the umpteenth time, and the community has become infested with furrys and troons who could never handle something like niggertales going off in the voice chat. Even back then those servers were steadily becoming more depopulated by the time I started playing, and they sure as hell aren't going to become active now. Even the ones that are active are all hugboxes. The bots are shit, but they're not the only party that's actively killing this game.

This campaign will fail. Valve will make another empty promise, maybe a cutesy community post. Maybe in 2 years they'll try again with the exact same results. I don't really know. Not to get faggy and sentimental, but in times like these it's important to remember a game like TF2 not for what it is, but for what it was. Like a family member who trooned out. Remember the good times, the hours sunk into it. Through thick and thin, a classic that's always there. Always in your library, ready to boot up and play on a rainy day. Even when you're "done with Tf2" you're never really done. It really was something special, a gem in a torrential downpour piss on an ocean of diarrhea.

Here's to Team Fortress 2; born too early, neglected by it's creator, and still clinging to a thread of life while it asphyxiates on the ground, it's family frantically attempting to revive it. 17 fucking years, that's a good run. There are people who don't make it that long. I don't regret a picosecond I've put into the game. Not one.

Why would he fuck with his only relevant Youtube content? He's a self-admitted gambling addict and his drug of choice is giving Valve money in the Mann Up slot machines. In his latest video, he even blatantly states that he doesn't play community MvM because there's no tangible reward at the end.

It doesn't feel like TF2 at all. Why is everyone moving so fast like it's quake, why are there gay custom weapons and retarded moves like VIP escort? I played it for like an hour, but then novelty wore off and it went to the trash where it belongs. Not to mention there are furry faggots with game-wide moderator status indicated by a star next to their name. Good luck getting banned from the only populated server, because you politely told the troon spamming "trans rights" to stop with their political spergery.

Tf2c is the perfect example of why the community cannot be trusted at all. Retarded new weapons, vip mode being a worse and easily griefable payload (there's a reason payload replaced vip!), troon nonsense at every turn, sniper remaining the same or even given straight upgrades.

TF2c had a lot of promise but succumbed to typical source engine community autism

Which is retarded because unlike bokillers and aussies, the tour medals actually show your experience and skill in MvM. Also is Mann Up even profitable? You might be able to repeatedly play by selling your rewards for tickets, but surely you lose money in the process.

At this point why don't people just move to team fortress 2 classic? Or some good samaritans create some sort of community server browser that has the normal rules and isn't uncletopia. That's just the reality we have to accept. Unless we are willing to protest directly outside of valve HQ nothing will change.
