"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

Let me guess you came of age in the 90s.

Everyone always thinks shit was fine until they stopped being a child. Shit was never fine, but it started getting much worse faster.
Sure, there is some bias there, it's impossible to avoid it. But even now when you look at cultural artifacts of that era like music, movies and shows you'll see a very different, happier world.

Phil Mason/Thunderf00t one of the original skeptic atheists on YouTube opens up a live stream to celebrate Elon's rocket blowing up but even though the rocket loses part of its wings during reentry it successfully manages to land and complete it's test flight.
He is not amused.

Casual reminder this man was a nuclear scientist working in a European nuclear reactor at one time.

I couldn't find it; all I found was this

p.s. I love America, this America in particular:

but the ones not pictured above are pictured below:

also: American soldiers were weebs for Donald Duck propaganda

Like I said previously: they weren't better people who wouldn't have put up with BLM or the gulags. It wouldn't have made any difference if they had known about drag queen story hour, White genocide, catastrophizing the common cold, or any other damn thing, for the same reason that it didn't make any difference reading John 8:44 or seeing all the antiwar marches for both world wars.

Every soldier who has ever died in every war died for nothing if the worth of their sacrifice is judged solely by the permanence of what they fought for. Empires and nations and the armies they raise all age and die. I'm pretty sure the soldiers who would have survived to win the war for the Thousand Year Reich would have also found it unrecognizable and strange after 50 years.
Extend this thinking to all lives though, there are a scant few men upon whose back history actually turns. The vast majority of all humans ever have lived and died affecting nothing beyond their immediacy. Reverence for soldiers that is above and beyond what you'd pay to your own ancestors or their neighbors, requires; on some level, a distorted veneration of those wars being righteous.

And I'm undecided on where to draw the line historically; because while modern wars are all fake and gay, they haven't always been.

Living in a nation today that participated in WWII, there's not a single thing I could see myself being motivated to fight or die for on either side of the conflict. But I don't think that means much, since it's impossible to divorce a perspective that has a modern understanding of the brutality of the war and clear views of all sides' motivations, unclouded by contemporary propaganda and the limited knowledge of the world you'd have by virtue of living in that era.

Every time. Every goddamn time josh manages to bring the problem of troons to the mainstream, he immediately goes into redpill tourette mode about some unrelated thing at the worst possible moment, and gets all of his relevant social media accounts purged along with the easy to access and digest proof that trannies are a menace. I doubt Elon will help him this time.
it all comes bundled together
not unrelated at all
like a cable television subscription
both his opinions and theirs

but besides that it is not his fault for having opinions
it is their fault for censoring his opinions

Here’s some funny shit I found to check out on this glorious pizza day while @Null is cut off from the life-giving cesspool he loves so much, also known as xitter.
This channel appears to be relatively unknown, which is a crime because this dude is really fucking funny.

Funny Pizza Vid on YT, it’s only one minute and a half

Thunderfoot is a ground zero case for Musk Derangement Syndrome
I did want to see some fireworks this morning though...

Yeah, Musk is a scam artist but Thunderf00t is just a bit too hung up on it. Whenever he steps away from Musk and politics, it becomes some pretty good entertainment (basically just his busted vids)

Free speech means a freedom to say that boomers need to drop fucking dead already.
Ending boomers is infinitely more relevant than any troon shit. Only very online retards think troon shit is the central issue.

I m gen X

With the fall of the USSR, the dread of WW3/doomsday went away.

along with the economic boom of the 1990s it was good time.

9/11 took that away.

I still think of that meme about how in the matrix 1999 was the peak of human civilization and maybe it was true.

I dunno how on the last stream you read the chaser in f1nnster's groomercord saying "we don't need to discuss it here it's being handled" and then like a minute later accuse aipac denounced Brandon Herrera of throttling your posts on self proclaimed "filosemite" Elon Musk's platform.

So is the suspension permanent or temporary?
Temporary bans leave your account up but you can’t do a post. You can still use groupchats and DMs but you can’t upload photos in them either or use reactions. A removal of profile is a permanent thing but these days permanent seems to be until it gets manually reviewed unless you’re really just wishing for death upon someone.
