Imagine if you will, that you pay over 30K for a car, only to get a dual clutch semi-automatic transmission. The very same type of transmission that utterly anhilliated Ford's sedan marketshare through recalls. So much so that they had to stop producing everything but the Taurus in their non sport sedan lineup.

Edit:They got the Taurus too

I got to talking to a friend not long ago about the brother of a mutual acquaintance who had relapsed hard on the booze and almost killed himself. My friend referred to this guy as a "dry drunk." I always thought that term referred to any recovering drinker but apparently it's a specific term of art referring to addicts who have stopped using but have maintained all the fucked up habits of mind and behavior that they developed and clung to during their addiction. "He stopped drinking, but he was never in recovery."

Seems pretty spot-on for our man here, assuming he's actually stopped drinking.

His channel will die if he just stays on Locals. It'll survive if he goes back to Youtube, gets clean from here on out, and puts out focused and informative analysis videos / trialstreams.

Of course that requires that he actually stays clean, which he won't. Hey Nick, I hope you do, even if just to spite us.

He can't bring his career back without a public apology. Imagine trying to recommend his channel to someone. "Hey, you should watch this Rekieta video!" "Isn't that the cokehead swinger who neglected his kids?" The brand is beyond tarnished. He's ritually impure. Nigga needs to dust himself with the ashes of a red heifer.

:story:
Yeah I got a chuckle out of the Le Confused Redditor LARP.

I hope to God he was trolling.
Yeah I was wrong. After some kind kiwis pointed it out, I agree he probably doesnt have an actual court appointed officer with him. I thought I heard on the Kino Casino or from Null's stream that he had an officer from the court living with him so he didn't break his conditions.

I think that's gonna be really dependent on how old they are. Any children who are 12 or older has a reasonable chance (imo) of having the capacity to be able to understand that things are better now and that this isn't their fault. Any kids younger than that who are still stuck in the idolizing Mom and Dad stage, probably don't have the capacity to understand that.

All of these kids are gonna need a lot of help, but I think the littlest ones are the most at risk of incurring the most damage from all of this.

Its unforgiveable, what Nick and Kayla have done.
It's really hard to see the forest from the trees at that age range, let alone process mentally what the parents did. Kids are hard wired to love their parents unconditionally and don't know anything else so "normal" for some houses that the rest of society sees as reprehensible don't register in their minds unless it's abuse so severe and outrageous that it can't be rationalized away.

That 16 year old probably knew something was up but didn't know how to act on it. The younger ones just are lost and confused. It will take years for them to really come to terms with what happened.

All kids deserve a parent, but not all parents deserve a kid. I really hope they realize that this isn't their fault.

I really don't understand why people are still trying to sweep it up for Nick, they hang on his every word. The man neglects his kids and the people in his corner (EVS) especially are blaming the kids. Those kids will love their parents even if they are coke addicted retards. This is the kind of shit that'll stick with them, possibly for the rest of their lives. There will be long running issues, and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the kids turned to substance abuse later on to cope with the trauma and negligence. I hope their grandparents can raise them right and help them get counseling. Nick doesn't deserve to have any rights to his children. @FROG Go suck start a shotgun and stream it, you faggot and I mean it in all sincerity.

I just looked it up and 25g of flour is 9 5/8 teaspoons of flour (and it said 25g of sugar is actually 6 teaspoons). It still doesn't seem that huge.
Cocaine doesn't work like flour. Sure, that may not be enough to make you a biscuit, but it will get a bunch of people plenty high for a week or so.

He hasn't, though.

He was obviously drinking booze in his Monster Rehab Lemonade can. He just thought he was really smart and you couldn't detect that.

He pulls these teenage tricks. He thinks he's fooling you.

Why does he and Ralph and whatnot have a compulsion to convince their audience that they grew up rough? What's the shame in growing up with a normal or good childhood

Well. Ralph at least probably did have a bad childhood. But a bad childhood for someone like Ralph is no excuse for becoming a very bad adult. Ralph mostly uses it as a pity card to play.

Nick on the other hand seems to have had nothing in his childhood worth complaining about. Everything about him growing up rough is just a total lie. Nick for the most part was an upper middle class suburban nerd.

Nick's bad childhood is just part of a larger pattern of Nick lying to manipulate his audience and to divert attention away from the fact that he has been living off a trust fund for his entire married life. Nick's self-image is of the man who rose to success through talent and merit even though the reality is a more mixed picture.

As I've probably said multiple times, the only time there isn't a lie coming out of DIck Suckieta's mouth is when a dick is going in.

I actually think he will start streaming regularly again. He wants things to go back to “normal” and this is one way to demonstrate that this is all just one big FUNNY and WEIRD misunderstanding.

I wonder if he will gift his kids free local subs or is he going to charge them $5 each to interact with him.

Van Sciver and others in Rekieta's corner think they're backing up a buddy in his hour of greatest need. They're wrong in doing it. What Rekieta needs is someone he likes and trusts to tell him the hard, unvarnished truth, which is what a real friend does, and the truth is Rekieta and his equally fucked-up, cokehead wife are hurting their five children. A real friend would urge him into rehab and beg him to take whatever plea deal the state offers, one that will reunite him with his family as soon as possible, convincing him that's the only way out that works.
