I don't see criminal consequences for this, but if Riley is acting tortiously and says it's under the direction of his employer Dax, then Dax can be held vicariously liable. There may also be some sort of civil conspiracy liability. Damages will be the hard thing to prove for any civil cause of action that requires actual damages. Maybe if this is connected back to the ISOM lawsuit the economic damages can suffice, but that's something also hard to prove as coming from Dax. And it would all ultimately depend on what's legally possible in either Texas or California.
