Which is the native language to most people in Ukraine. Ukranian is only spoken by a minority of people.

The language of choice is not a reliable indicator of country preference.
Still, slavs doing slav things is great entertainment.
Maybe russia can launch a similar channel with krokodil addicts ?

Ukrainian is not spoken by a minority, Russian is not the native language of most people there.

I was explaining to non-Russian speakers that the stream is perfectly suited for the much, much larger Russian audience.

Russians have been big donators to the stream, which is why Kvadrat doesn't say anything that would turn off that audience. In fact, he has beaten and humiliated a Ukranian vet for a video. It was apparently a pretty big deal over there, at least according to the article in OP.
