21yo girl regrets getting top surgery at 18. She isn't trans but hated her big breasts and was veering for this surgery from 13. Cloudy_Soul

Pretty interesting thing to see, when you see all the false equivalences that troons love to draw between troon surgeries and cosmetic surgeries in general. At least the latter doesn't entail trying to turn into the opposite sex, or a different species, etc.

But even the latter is fraught with complications, the least of which includes things like simple regret, or overdoing the operations and looking like a monstrosity. The worst, of course, being serious health complications.

Seeing that troons don't have a choice but to "overdo" it, so to speak, yeah. If regret for this sort of thing happens with not-troons, what does it say about those who get even more intensive operations because of some moronic fetish or fever dream?

Standardized IQ testing is meaningless because it measures culturally based abstract reasoning and the individual's affinity for specific testing methods alongside skills such as math and spelling.

Someone with minimal Western cultural integration, often speaking a less common first language on top of that, will struggle and may be read as below average on a test not tailored to their situation (and even the regionalized version is still based on a, to them, foreign standard). The person is not necessarily stupid and may well have a higher 'IQ' than someone better suited to the test. Others who score poorly on standardized tests are people with specific learning disabilities that drag down their scores in one area, people with test anxiety, and those who have physical limitations that make it harder to complete questions at high speed.

Some argue the testing puts women at a disadvantage because it measures certain skills, such as spatial reasoning, that women, on average, score lower on. I'm a woman, so ... not convinced. Men aren't born with an advantage here, they develop it. Just one more reason I advocate for taking gender biases out of skill development - some boys can love arts and crafts too, just like some girls can love sports and math.

As for kids and IQ testing, the reason I'm so familiar with these tests, and have so little respect for them, is because I scored outrageously high on them as a grade schooler. I was a kid who LOVED tests, and I came from an intellectual family who spent time developing my skills from an early age. You can imagine what this does to a child's performance on these assessments. Anyway, I kept being administered IQ tests throughout my schooling because ohh special, so I got to be good at standardized testing. In high school, I wrote the SAT on a whim (Canadian, not needed here) for the day away from school and scored in the 96th percentile. I am not Harvard material.

I'm dumb as a box of rocks. Like, not able to handle adulting dumb. I can't spell at a functional level. Goldfish have better memories than mine - I haven't managed to learn my phone number in two years of trying. I've flunked out of college as often as I've aced it. But I'm an IQ test genius.

I'm a dumbass but even I know grafting on a fake dick or tunneling out a faux pussy is a very bad idea. Not only will it never function - a situation that would cause real mental distress and dysphoria in an average person - but it will never be finished as medical staff will forever be fighting against a human body trying to repair itself. Plus, it always looks hilarious - who wants people laughing at or side-eying their genitals during sexy time?

It must be terrible trying to have sex with someone who is post op; I'd never be comfortable because I'd be worried about hurting them physically or emotionally the entire time. And since none of it works perfectly, it's not as if we'd be having fun even without being cautious. The levels of cope needed for this would be extreme; I guess that's part of why T4T is such a thing.

I have zero ... no, make that negative empathy for angry huns and bitter pooners who build their lives around ruining things for others but these SRS victims? I feel bad for many of them. A lot are the sad, lonely, easily influenced folks who fell for love bombing or fragile people who are flailing around trying to protect themselves from past abuse and humiliation. And too often they're kids, or just barely adults, too young to know who they are. I don't enjoy seeing people experimented on and there's far too much experimental, and flat-out bad, surgery being performed in the pursuit of trans joy. I don't find the images itt hard to look at - I'm eating right now - but thinking about the people who posted them, that's hard.

This one is...weird. I don't know how to explain it but the skin looks almost like solid plastic?

My guess is he has some very heavy smoothing filters on.
I've been hanging out in a deathfats thread where she once admitted she only looks at herself filtered and honestly believes its what she looks like, and knowing people are that openly delusional I firmly believe any troon that thinks they pass (especially the men) is doing and believing the same.
Now whether he's doing that to his new rotting wound or just forgot he has them on I can't say, but it no doubt looks VERY different in a mirror.

Finally, that guy with the nightmare from Dr Hyer posted again, 5 weeks post OP

This is the first time in all of this thread that I looked at each segment of a taint gash and repeated "what's this?" so many times I got the song from Nightmare before Christmas accidently playing in my head.
The bookend thought I have to every single one of these nightmare posts is "and it's all for nothing."
Every. Time.
No pleasure, no visual resemblance, high maintenance, disgusting smells, no partner is attracted to one, no sex drive left. All that remains is meat and pain.
If you're LUCKY you go numb.
My greatest hope in all this is that the medical community learns enough with all these failed experiments that they can one day perfectly restore the genitalia of men and women who have lost or had theirs damaged through no fault of their own.
It's a nice little silver lining.

I don’t get it - do people fail to draw the line parallel to the floor
If we're going to Occam's razor this one, it would be to assume they're testing for knowledge of the fact that the water level stays horizontal even when you tilt the bottle to the side.

The reasoning capability to manipulate an abstraction, in essence.
Yes but really not even that, it's testing for the ability to not miss the fact that they're asked to manipulate the abstraction. It's a fine distinction between "the bottle has been tipped" and "the (incomplete) picture has been rotated" and it's easy to miss it if you're asked to solve many such maybe-simple maybe-tricky problems in a row.

Consider:
Draw a line from 1 to 9 so that it passes below even numbers and letters, and above odd numbers:
1 2 N 5 K U 3 4 7 T 5 3 A 9 8 E Z
It doesn't test for knowing the difference between even and odd numbers, it tests for remembering to stop at 9.

Ooooh ok I get it. So you have all those ravens matrices type questions where loads are involving the rotation of the complete object then you’re presented with that. Which is quite different to being presented with it as a standalone. I wonder if anyone has tested if people get it right more when it’s presented alone?

It's pretty long so those who're interested can read if they want to, but to summarize, the "formal operational stage" (age 11 and beyond) is the level when an individual is expected to be able to manipulate abstractions without prior knowledge of said object in their personal experience; hence the "formal operational stage", operating on forms, rather than concretes.

Someone unable to do this would be stuck in this stage:

EDIT: Are you assuming the image would be presented with or without the accompanying instructions? The instructions literally tell you how to interpret the images. I guess for someone illiterate, they would need oral instructions?

If the instructions are missing, yeah, I guess you would have a point. Otherwise, no.

Are there genital-specific filters? (I only take pictures of cats and price tags.)

As this thread demonstrates, there's a market. Pink up that necrosis, conceal redness of granulation tissue, put the hole in the center of the lips the same way a selfie filter can recognize where the nose is in order to make it a button.

6 month post OP.

Even the “good“ ones which heal well all look wrong. They’re all weirdly long and the vaginal opening is too low. The outer labia and skin around it is all wrinkly too. At least it didn’t turn necrotic.

Of my many years as a TERF, browser of r/neovaginadisasters (RIP), and watcher of this thread, I think this is one of the best results I've seen. To be clear, that's not saying much. That it is the work of Brassard -- a butcher who requires an NDA to prevent his victims from speaking out and is notorious for saying "that is a normal result" even if his work looks like it was performed with a chainsaw (relevant Reddit thread and another) -- makes me think this must be highly edited.

Like all other amholes, this one possesses the distinguishing feature unique to holes punched into the taints of pornsick mentally ill men: the off-angle gape positioned in the wrong place relative to what are supposed to be outer labia. It's never right. It's never remotely close to how a vaginal opening appears on an actual woman. It's always disturbing in its abject wrongness. Because it's an intimate body part linked to our most lizardy instincts (reproduction), the visceral reaction it invokes is deeper and more disturbing than you feel when you see a more common deformity like a cleft lip or even extensive surgical reconstruction after a devastating facial injury. Your animal brain cannot help but be repulsed because even if you've never seen a vagina, you somehow know this one is alien and wrong. Troons will never be able to override this instinct in others no matter how hard they scream about transphobia and bigotry. Take it up with hundreds of thousands of years of evolution, Champ.

Also, no woman takes a crotch shot with her asshole front and center. Porn addict confirmed. Not that we need confirmation.

It's the smoothness and very distinct colour difference between the inner/out "labia" that makes it glaringly edited for me as well.

This troon spent what was likely a small fortune on FFS and by his own admission, he thought he looked "really good" but then everyone else started telling him he looked really bad and needed a revision. Dysphoria returns!

Yeah, clearly money well spent, buddy. I'm sure after FFS round 3 you'll finally feel like a real boy woman!

Looks more like he had a nose job which I imagine would be much cheaper.
