Maybe, the response to the Cold Ones vid had an affect on the inside that he can finally recognize that his time as a creator is over, with his reputation being washed and rinsed over time.
She will never let him quit. He is their only source of income.
She can't handle streaming regularly (even if she could, she ain't making anything)
She can't handle an upload schedule for only fans
She can't run an event (something Ethan Ralph could do) without overspending and crashing into the ground because she wanted the cool kids from youtube to come to her party.
She can't handle taking care of their dogs, they need trainers and people to walk them, backyards to rent.
She has said repeatly that she has tried multiple times to quit the podcast but Ian won't let her.
And even though Anisa proudly proclaims that she FUNCTIONS IN SOCIETY because she was a part time busboy ten years ago and she scooped ice cream in the ninethgrade. She cannot handle and irl job.
She can't downgrade their lifestyle because she can't handle preparing her own meals and cleaning up after herself.
She can't handle life without regular therapy (you can see from her recent meltdown and Twitter sperging, how tremendously it's paying off)
She can't cope. She needs Ian to do everything Mommy did.
Tl;dr Anisa is a lazy, good-for-nothing neet who will never contribute anything to society because of her crippling personality disorder(s) She refuses to face the reality that she has BPD (and probably histrionic personality disorder and get actual help. Lol technically this is true. The "dubbbz" part stands for W, the initial of Ian's last name before he took Anisa's. He quite literally no longer is Idubbbz and he never will be again.
Something about the Cold Ones video and amazing reddit post by Mr. idubbbz over the past week has really made how truly stupid and upsetting this downfall truly has been. I just do not understand how one of the most influential youtubers of the past decade could go from the tippy top of what can be achieved on the mainstream internet to completely turning on his heels and throwing it all away.
When did this change happen? Maybe I just dont keep up with the gay rules of the gay Internet, but I refuse to believe that if Ian had just kept making his very popular crass content he would've lost the graces of the youtube consuming world like he seems to think he would. Did he just give up? What a fucking shame.
