I think in gaming its different. I don't think gaming Youtubers are approaching large game companies for jobs, or asking the company to help make their projects. Its already reasonably simple finding some people to shit out your game idea as long as you have money. If anything the industry they end up getting into is game journalism which is still a far cry from being a part of the team that makes the products they review. Even companies that have formal relationships with Youtubers still always keep it as a media relationship and not as a formal job. Cartoons unfortunately require an amount of manpower that is really only reasonably achievable by a huge team hired by a production company. I think it would be more akin to if a Youtuber went to a AAA game developer and tried to pitch a multi million dollar game idea.

He did *some* work on a cancelled Mortal Kombat spinoff show for WB but I have no idea if he did anything else.

Not quite my dear friend, it all depends on a variety of factors, reasons and routes, here are some examples:
  • Viziepop: Instead of pitching her pilot around network executives behind closed doors, she published the pilot publicly on the internet, using the public outcry as a bridge so larger corpos would take interest
  • Schmorky: Being overwelmighly talented, we have to remeber that the pepe popo man was able to get work with adult swim and even get the chance of a Nickelodeon show on base of his talents alone
  • Having good conections: Although is true that Ok Ko already had a pilot, it wasn't until Ian Jones-Quartey's wife Rebbeca sugar had a succesful show that CN picked it up
I also could go on and on about diversity hires, cal arts and the nepotism behind that institution and yet again talk about Pendleton Ward's hiring of Tumblr Friends rabbit hole, but the gist is that in some ocasions you don't need something big to create a cartoon

Considering it almost all but confirm they blacklisted him from the industry. He should’ve gone full edgy or pitched a show to the daily wire.

Don't quite think so, take for example Dan Harmon who harrased some girl for some time because the girl rejected him, this would normally been a career Ender, but the man did a whole stand up that was partly humillation ritual partly sincere apollogy , with Pan's ofendes being minor he could get his show if he is able to follow through the forementioned protocols, more of we take into account his SJW and PC tendencies

I don't think Pan is blacklisted, I just think he's underqualified. By that I mean, does Pan even have single finished drawing/animation project? Loki IRL has been half-done  twice now. Even a lot of the people that are hated in the industry have actual portfolios or even completed comics like Noelle Stevenson

He doesn't have his own thread, but I figured it was relevant enough to post here because Taxi confessed his love for the guy. Someone managed to find an actual photo of Zone, and surprise surprise, it's a greasy dude who basically just looks like Shadman but white.

Take this with a grain of salt, because it was posted on LCF by someone who didn't give a source, and reverse image search yielded no results. If some autist wants to try and figure out where the hell this came from, be my guest. Looks like a cropped group picture from a convention.

Say what you want about Mr Enter. But unlike Pan. Mr enter is currently working on his cartoon pilot. We see him making progress even when it's laughably bad with a shit creepy premise. But at least Mr enter worked on his shit still even when no one believes in him. Pan all but gave up on his animation dreams.
